They are inquisitive, and love attention and closeness from their owners. They can live for up to 35 years. Conures are generally compatible with other conures.

Snow White Crawfish 🦞 otherwise known as Vanilla Lobsters — are territorial, need lots of hiding places, and will try and escape your freshwater tank any chance they get so keep your eyes on them while you admire their pearly aura 🪩

Did you know? Betta keeping began in Thailand over 150 years ago. Children collected these territorial fish in rice paddies and would place them together to watch them spar, hence the name Siamese Fighting Fish. Soon, betting on these contests became commonplace.

🦚 Peacock Cichlids 🫧

These beauties would make a perfect addition to your tank — we’d recommend a 55 or 60 gallon as they are skillful swimmers and active hunters out there in the wild. They are pretty popular due to colors you rarely find in the freshwater side of fish keeping.

Remember that peacock cichlids hunt for food near the bottom of their native habitat, so never use gravel for substrate, as it could damage the fish’s gills. Something soft and sandy is going to be better for your fish in the long run. Happy fish, happy home!

The South American Bird P**p Frog 🪺🪷🐸

These frogs use their unique coloration to mimic bird p**p, allowing for better camouflage from predators. They can live from 4 years, all the way up to 15 years depending on the species

🌼🌺 The Flowerhorn 🌺🌼 a south american cichlid

These are a very interesting man-made fish! They were first developed in the late 1990s in Malaysia and Thailand through selective crossbreeding of various cichlid species from Central and South America.

They actually will change their colors throughout their lives. They gradually gain their full colors upon reaching maturity (12-24 months) and then the colors slowly fade as they begin to get older. These are a very aggressive and territorial species, so be careful pairing with others as they may be harmed …or worse

🐠🫧 The Sailfin Tang 🫧🐠

This beautiful saltwater fish is important to keeping coral reefs healthy by preventing the overgrowth of algae. They are primarily an herbivore and in addition to keeping algae in check, they feed on seaweed. When they feel threatened, they can actually swim backwards and raise their sharp scales as well as their fins to puncture an enemy.

When it comes to building a nice aquarium for them to thrive in, we recommend a larger one to provide plenty of swimming room. 180 gallons is ideal, but 120 will also do just fine for one adult! Come see her jolt around her tank at our Greece location & give her a nice home

Opaque fish are so interesting to observe! We have a few different types of fish you can see through but these ones specifically are the HY511 tetra; otherwise commonly known as candy cane or cotton candy tetra.

THE MORE THE MERRIER 🐠
These are the happiest and thrive best in a group of 6 or more. It is considered hazardous to keep a school of less since it will most likely make them hostile and they will have a weaker immune system. They also feel threatened if they are not living in a group, and you don’t want stressed fishies! Definitely do some research before having your own. Overall though, they are an easy, low maintenance species to care for

We are growing our collection surely 🐛 we now have silkworms for your animals at home!

Some interesting facts about silkworms:
🪡 They produce coc**ns made of a single thread of raw silk that can reach up to a mile in length
🇨🇳 Silk is cultivated in Japan, China, Spain, France, and Italy! It takes about 3000 coc**ns to make one pound of the material
🍃 These ‘worms’ are grown on Mulberry leaves. They are actually considered a type of caterpillar
🤚🏼 be very careful handling these, as they have very soft skin that can be pinched or damaged easily
