2025 has been an exciting year for Taproot! Can this be our biggest ever, too? If we can raise $2,000, it will be! That’s just 40 people donating $50. 📲LINK IN BIO
When you support Taproot this , your gift will go directly toward our community garden and youth employment programs. Your donation ensures that our staff, youth employees, and volunteers have the resources, materials, and training they need to deliver the best programs possible.
In 2025, we distributed $32,000 worth of materials to 98 community gardens in Rochester, employed 35 youth, and hosted over 50 workshops for community gardeners, school garden clubs, and teens.
We’ve got big stuff planned for 2026: doubling the number of school-year interns, starting community orchard programming, and expanding our supplies giveaways.
Here are some of the ways your donation supports our programs:
⚒️$50 gives a community garden access to the SEAC Tool Shed for a year
🪴$100 provides take-homes and hospitality for a community garden workshop
đź‘«$150 equips a Youth Leader Intern with work attire, safety gear, and school supplies for a year.
🌷$200 builds, fills, and plants a new or replacement raised bed at a community garden.
