LITTER ANNOUNCEMENT!!

We are excited about this beautiful litter of chocolates due April 17th, 2025 (going home mid-June)!

Beautiful Bonnie Blue comes from English show champion bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree. Her sire is an international show champion, and also has a working title. He comes from a breeder in Florida that strives to preserve the beauty of the show ring alongside the working abilities of the retriever. Bonnie is definitely a stunning example of their efforts!

She has a very sweet, calm temperament, is very intelligent, and learns quickly. She absolutely loves children, people, pets and cuddles. She also loves a good run in the woods, a game of fetch, and retrieving on our pond. She loves to be with us and get involved with whatever we are doing. She is also calm, easy-going and able to chill out on her own when she’s not the center of attention (as she very much deserves to be!).

Wilson’s family tree is full of hunting champions & field champions, including his great granddaddy who was a 7x GRHRCH, MNH9 and Hall of Fame dog. This boy loves water and retrieving! He also has a wonderfully calm and loving temperament, is very intelligent and obedient, and is just a fantastic all-around family dog.

All our puppies are raised in our home surrounded by plenty of love and socialization with our 8 children, 6 dogs and 4 cats. They are extensively socialized with children, cats, other dogs, household noises, a variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces and textures, sights and sounds. We begin working on basic obedience, retrieving, and introduction to water (weather permitting). Pups will be vet checked, vaccinated and dewormed, and come with a health guarantee and a new puppy kit to take to their new homes. We also provide lifetime support for any questions or concerns you should ever have with your puppy.

Once puppies are six weeks old and have had their health check at the vet and first vaccinations (and personalities have had a bit of a chance to develop), we schedule a day of appointments for everyone to come out and meet and choose their puppy in person. If you can’t make it in person, we will send lots of photos and videos.

LITTER ANNOUNCEMENT!!
We are excited about this beautiful litter of reds and yellows due April 11th! These puppies will be excellent as prospective hunting companions, or for active individuals and families who love to get out and have fun with their dogs. Both sire and dam love to play and have fun with the family, but also have a great off switch in the house. They are both super sweet, intelligent and affectionate, with a medium sized athletic build, and both have irresistibly soft, thick coats. Puppies should range in shade from yellow to fox red. We can’t wait to see how these pups turn out!!

Beau’s pedigree is filled with field champions and hunting champions. His parents are both family-owned hunting dogs. This boy absolutely lives to retrieve! As soon as he sees you coming, he starts looking around for a ball or a stick to play fetch. Since he was a puppy, he could keep up to our older dogs retrieving on the water. He’s very sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and learns quickly. He loves hanging out with his people and has a beautiful soft, thick coat.

Rinnie is very intelligent, affectionate, and loyal. She is a high drive retriever who loves to be active on land and water, but is also wonderfully calm in the house with her people. She loves to follow us around the home and property wherever we go, and is always up for a good game of fetch or kickball. She has a beautiful soft red coat, and has white bolo marks on three paws, a white mark on her chest, and one white toe. We have seen these bolo marks passed down from one of our sires to puppies in previous litters. These marks descend back to the origins of the breed in Great Britain.

All our puppies are raised in our home surrounded by plenty of love and socialization with our 8 children, 6 dogs and 4 cats. They are extensively socialized with children, cats, other dogs, household noises, a variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces and textures, sights and sounds. We begin working on basic obedience, retrieving, and introduction to water (weather permitting). This little sweetheart just went to her new family today. Her original owners had to back out unexpectedly so she was with us one-on-one for an extra week. She was such a delight and we enjoyed being with her so much. It was lovely to see the potential our puppies have in their new homes. She already learned the basics of come, sit, stay and leave it in just the few days with us, and has got a great start on potty training as well. My heart is definitely breaking quite a bit right now, but we are so happy to see her placed with a wonderful family who I’m sure are going to be make her very happy ~ and vice versa! 🍫❤️

This chocolate girl is very sweet, friendly, outgoing, and playful. She absolutely loves people and is always the first to run up and say hello. She is 8 weeks old, and started on potty training and basic obedience & manners. She has one bolo mark on her front paw. 🐾 These marks descend from her sire, and go back to the origins of the breed in England. Both mom and dad are very intelligent, obedient & affectionate, and are excellent retrievers. This little girl is beginning to show some retrieving potential already too!

Sadie is a sweet, calm and affectionate girl who learns quickly and loves nothing more than to be with her people. She is super obedient, always wants to be involved in whatever we’re doing. She has an English background, but has fantastic drive and loves to retrieve on land and water!

Tucker getting a little socialization in with Cookie today!

I had one of our new puppy owners asking today about what kind of training the puppies have started.We don’t do crate training. But they are used to being in a pen and chilling out. Playing with toys, taking naps, etc. until it’s time for us to take them out or give them attention.They are somewhat naturally started on potty training. They have a big L shaped pen right now and they have all unanimously designated one area for their potty. They have a natural instinct not to go where they eat and sleep. So that gives them a bit of a head start for when they go home. So far the feedback I’ve had is that most of our puppies potty train pretty quickly.We have done some training onnot biting, at least not aggressively. We don’t mind a bit of licking and love nibbles on the edge of a sleeve.There’s kind of a popping noise I make to wake all the puppies up when it’s time for them to eat. I noticed today when I was out in the yard if I make that noise, they all come running immediately. So that has definitely got them a good start on “Come”. He has wonderful puppy training methods. When we brought their dad Wilson home at eight weeks old he learned the basics of come, sit, stay and leave it in just the first few weeks. Just a couple of 15 minute training sessions a day right from the start is so helpful. It’s a fun and bonding time for your puppy, and really should be a part of his daily routine for the rest of his life to keep those training skills reinforced. Zak George has a ton of free videos on YouTube as well as a free training course on Pupford.com.

Indi’s puppies are 5 weeks old today!!They are keeping busy ~ working on weaning, figuring out how to use the new water bowl, enjoying their toys, vying for all the attention and pets…. 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 🤎

Sadie’s puppies were 5 weeks old on Saturday!! They’ve been getting restless to explore the world outside their whelping pen, so they had their first big day outside today! It was such lovely warm weather for it. They were eager and confident, and I think they had a great time! My apologies, they have outgrown their first collar and the new ones haven’t arrived from Amazon yet. If you have any questions about which one is which in any of the clips just let me know!
