Today we had a great turn out for our obedience class! Today we worked on eye contact, sit, down, stay and come! Everyone did absolutely amazing and had great questions. Cant wait to see the progress everyone will make throughout the week at home!

today we took some time and worked on obedience in a high volume store with many people and many dogs. this not only builds your confidence as a dog owner but teaches your dog how to act appropriately in situations that are unfamiliar

on this beautiful friday night we took miss kimber to the lake for some exercise! With this fun time she worked on her recall, focus with extra stimulation going on around her. We got lots of exercise jumping off the dock and the boat. basically she is a fish

It is very important to monitor your dogs in the heat of the summer. If it’s to hot for you then it is for them too. Heat stroke can be fateful

Let me reintroduce myself! My name is sarah I’m originally from Connecticut recently moved to Sullivan County New York. I graduated from SUNY Cobleskill in 2021 with an associates in animal industry with a focus in canine training and management. I’ve been training for approximately two years, and mainly focusing in obedience, and some mild behavior modification, I also currently work at a vet clinic as a veterinary technician/assistant, as well as an animal shelter as a kennel manager. With my experience in training as well as veterinary medicine it has helped with the training algorithm with not only behavior, but knowing that somethings can be medically caused My training services are primarily in-home training to work with you, your pet and your family in an environment that is familiar and comfortable for everyone. In the near future, I will be holding training sessions at the veterinary clinic that I work at that will include, but not limited to puppy classes as well as some advanced obedience. I have one dog a fox red lab named Kimber who is a year and a half old,right now we are still working on obedience, as well as duck dog training. I love to train with a balanced training method, positive reinforcement, as well as some tools when needed. Each dog requires something different and training methods will need to be modified for each. I am so excited to be able to work in this county and those who live in it.
