These ram lambs are so sweet, but they make it a bit hard to get any good pictures of them. Aiken is ready for his super close up!!

Fall Farm Day is getting closer - less than 2 months away.

Not only will we have our favorite coffee brewers, Rock Hill Coffee Roasters, but this time we are also being joined by Surefire Neighborhood Market serving up some amazing hot dogs!! Y'all do not want to miss this event!

This girl put in some hard working making the duck enclosure. I love seeing them come up with a vision and make it happen. This area gives the ducks access to their pool and lots of grass and bugs.

The farm has been loving the daily rain storms. The grass is finally starting to grow again. Bye bye crunchy grass! This pasture will be ready for some sheep shortly. 🐑

I have also enjoyed the break from watering the garden. Am I the only one who is giving up the battle on weeds though? 🌱

Finally.... rain!!!

We've been busy watering and trying not to overheat and checking on animals. And at last, a proper rain!

I'll be here in the garage past my bedtime watching and listening to it water the grasses for our sheep and the garden for us and being thankful!

We are filled up with volunteers for tomorrow's lead training (yay!), but if you still want to hang out with some lambs ... we have released the next date! We will be doing another night of lead training next Tuesday, July 2nd! Same time, same place.

Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

We lost a family member today. Puck has seen us through so much, been a best friend, and is gone way too soon. I've cried into his coat more times than I can count. He was Emma's but he was also ours. And one of the best dogs I've ever known. If we go a little radio silent while we grieve, please excuse us.

It's been a busy month on the farm. COVID took a few of us down, the girls finished school, we took part in , a couple lovely field trips, and the month isn't over yet!!!

Now we are catching up on chores while starting planning for our Fall Farm Day and working with the lambs to get them ready to show in the fall. Summer is definitely our busiest time, but I don't think I'd have it any other way.

Want to hang out with some sheep? Come help the lambs get used to being handled by hanging out with them, hand feeding them, and holding them on a halter. We are starting lead training for our show sheep and invite you to come out to our first lead training event.

🐑 This event starts at 6 on Tuesday, June 25th. Sign up by shooting us a message, email, or text.

🐏 Children are welcome, but all kids under 10 will need an adult chaperone with them while in with the sheep.
