Some FAQ's for you:
Q: Do you have a list of classes available this session?
A: Sure do! You can preview the classes and schedule at
https://www.charlottedogtraining.com/Public-View-Summer-2023-Classes It is important to read the class description to make sure you meet the requirements.
Q: I was signing up for a class and by the time I was at check out, the class was no longer available? Why?
A: Most likely someone else was already in queue trying for the same spot in that class. It's a matter of "first come, first serve." If you are new to signing up for classes, this takes additional time at registration, and can often bump your spot. We wish this wouldn't happen, but unfortunately, it is up to the software we use for class sign ups.
Q: Why are some classes listed as FULL as soon as registration went live?
A: Our CDTC club members have first access to our class registration. Often times, classes that are in high-demand will fill with our club members first. We know this is not ideal for everyone looking to get into classes, but it is one of the benefits of being a member. If you have trouble getting into the exact class you want, we always recommend signing up for another class that may be your 2nd choice. Hopefully, as we are able to offer more class sessions, the demand will decrease and we will have more availability and flexibility next time.
Q: I couldn't make it in this session, when is your next session?
A: We are not sure at this point. With the new building and our volunteers working out scheduling, we will definitely have more classes available in the very near future. Our intent will be to offer year round classes. This Summer session will run 4-6 weeks (depending on the class), and most likely another session will follow shortly behind. Once the next session is scheduled with our instructors, we will update our site and this page.
Q: How can I find out about classes in the future?
A: We always recommend watching our page or our website for updates, however, signing up for our emails will get you access to upcoming class info, as well. Sign Up here: https://charlottedogtraining.com/Contact
Q: Who are your instructors?
A: Please keep in mind, CDTC is an AKC Club filled with volunteers who teach classes, organize AKC trials, seminars and more. We are a volunteer based organization, but our instructors come with years of on-hands (or on-paws ) experience and excel in many different areas. Meet some of our instructors here: https://charlottedogtraining.com/Instructors
If you are unable to create an account or have issue with your registration, please email [email protected]. Our volunteers will do their best to get back to you as quickly as possible.
** Please note, this page will most likely not be monitored this evening. If you send a PM, we will respond as soon as possible.**
See you soon!
