Our Rockie Dog is 10! She has been battling cancer for almost two years now, and there’s been several times lately that we didn’t know if she would see 10 or not. Several surgeries that would improve her life, muscles removed, masses removed, and every single time we pick her up post op, her tail is wagging so hard she wiggles when she sees us. She is an incredible girl. Sweeter than any human being deserves to have as a companion.

Her drive to please is something I can not adequately describe with words. I have never wondered if she was going to give it her all or not. She has too many ribbons to count. That stack would include a grand ribbon, that’s somewhere upstairs that nobody even knows about. A lot of people reading this will hear for the first time that she has a grand ribbon, because none of that matters. That’s just for fun. It’s only a fraction of who she is. What matters is she snuggles with anybody that will give her time to do so. She follows our daughter continuously to make sure she’s ok. She is unbelievably caring. What matters is who she is the other 99% of the time that she’s not training. Those moments are why she’s so special to us. Happy birthday Rockie Dog!! ❤️

Our little Lady Bird is 12! She capped her bday weekend off with a nice quail hunt, picked up at least 20. I hope everybody that hunts a dog gets to enjoy the feeling of hunting behind one that’s so special and experienced. She still loves it! Hard to believe it’s been 12 years 👀Happy birthday to Lady!

They are too sweet! Eyes are beginning to open, and beginning to walk around. Just little balls of joy ❤️

These babies will be great hunting/testing dogs, but also have great personalities. Parents are top notch dogs as far as having an off switch to be comfortable on the couch too. Mama is a very sweet girl, and has no problem going right to work when she hears a duck call or a boom gun. (Will have her master title in the spring)
