Everyone's batteries are fully charged today and they are all ready to play! Dozer and Molly were so excited to see each other. They haven't been here on the same day in awhile and they always have fun together π₯°. Ollie is having a blast with everyone but especially loves Brew. My sweet girls, Chloe and Shiloh are on their favorite spot, the couch, with a good bone. Plus my smiley girl, Stormi is here today, but her and Coco decided it was a bit too rambunctious for them so they opted to go lay on my bed until it calms down a bit. π₯°
Problem solved...For 5 minutes π€£
Today we started conditioning Blaze to wear a transitional with his slip lead. This allows us to add pressure to additional pressure points in his muzzle as well as his skull to be able to communicate with him quicker and with less pressure. Today is his first day wearing it so we did some positive association with treats and pets and adding very little pressure to communicate "calm down". He's doing a great job so far and we will continue his education over the next few weeks.
I'm so proud of all of blaze's hard work so far. He is making big improvements on his loose leash heeling everyday. When he started training a little over a week ago, he was pulling full force while on a leash. Now he is learning how to achieve calm state of mind and follow me while heeling rather than leading and being overstimulated. Way to go big guy!

Transitional Heeling with Daisy at Riverwalk in Rock Hill, SC
Frankie boy is doing so much better this week. You can tell he is starting to relax and trust me now which is so important when we are working with dogs that have low self esteem and can be reactive. Jughead is one of our OGs and I know his personality and play style very well..he can get a little pushy with other dominant males so I'm careful to watch their body language (notice I stopped juggy from doing a dominant chin over move before it triggered Frank). We've been slowly introducing Frank to new dogs and he has done really well with everyone so far. We still have more work to do but I'm very proud of his progress so far.
Mixing things up and feeding your dog in other ways is a great way to give them some mental stimulation while eating breakfast/dinner. Daisy loves her food no matter how it's served π
Daisy and Spot are our extremely happy residents right now π©·π
Sweet lil Daisy got the spins π
Frank was such a good boy being calm around the kitties. Fred is a good judge of dogs and knew Frank was harmless
