As you can imagine, countless animals have been brought to the humane society due to people fleeing & loss of EVERYTHING and simply no way to care for their animals. Others, who are able to keep their animals with them, have been able to get food and water for their pets from the humane society. There are no pet stores to purchase, there is no address for amazon or chewy to ship... there is NOTHING!
Animals have been roaming the streets alone and confused, often hurt and in need to rescue. I can't even begin to imagine the complete heartache.
HELP THE HEROES HELPING THOSE IN NEED.
I have no appropriate words. Just count your blessing and help in any way you can.

Over 400 pets have been displaced by the devastating Eaton Fire. The Pasadena Humane Society has stepped up to the challenge and is currently providing critical care to animals with burns through their onsite ICU. While they have received an overwhelming amount of physical donations, financial contributions are still needed to ensure the ongoing care and support for these animals in need.

Urban Growers Collective is taking donations of decoration-free pine trees through Jan. 11 at its South Chicago farm to feed to goats as a healthy snack.

While enjoying the storm and coffee on my deck, I saw this little guy flailing upside down in a water spot. I flipped him over and put him on the table. He’s been hanging out here now for an hour. So let me introduce “Gonzo” my new pet 🤷‍♀️

Baby April sure can hold her own with the pups who look after her in her foster home. One of them was adopted from the same rescue, #wagginghearts, in the beginning of the stay at home order in 2020. Jax is paying it forward, taking care of another pup waiting for her forever family to find her. Catch me if you can ❤️🐾

I bought a second bed, even though they both fit into one, because lil Ms. Dixie was a horrible sharer. NOW, 2nd bed available and she is suddenly lil Ms. McSharepants.🤷 #SunsetParkPetCare
