3 fabulous days hosting Bernie Traurig this past weekend! A huge thank you to everyone to came out and rode or audited, and of course thank you Bernie for sharing your vast knowledge with all of us! A special thank you to our staff for your hard work during such a busy few days 🍀Many great lessons learned and lots of fun memories made. Hope to see all of you again soon!

While our second day with Bernie Traurig was underway back at home, two of our students headed to Willow Hill Farm for their WHVPHA show and came home with a couple of tricolors! Taylor McNeely Reserve Champion in Mini Stirrup and Lily Whitehead Champion in Leadline both aboard our very own Forget Me Not! Congratulations girls!

These kids headed to Crystal Water Farm today for their WHVPHA show and proved that hard work does pay off! Taylor McNeely and Forget Me Not champion in Mini stirrup, Lily Whitehead and Forget Me Not a little later in the day Reserve Champion in Leadline, and Alexis Taylor and her boy Ravenspurn second and five thirds in the child’s eq and hunters! A great day to get out and show! Looking for a fun team to head out to shows with? We’re out and about almost every weekend! Come join us!

It was a beautiful day for a horse show! Our Clover team rode their hearts out today and we’re very proud! Many participating in their first ever horse show, and all displaying excellent sportsmanship and horsemanship 🍀♥️

We would like to thank everyone who attended today, especially Hollow Hill Farm, Hunter Haven, Seven Meadows, Skye Blue Equestrian, Meadow Creek, and Heather Bergen. Also many thanks to our show manager Kathleen Rice, Kristen in the show office, Allison our starter, and all of the staff that came together to put on another great event here at The Clover!

Our Clover kids were hard at work tonight prepping for tomorrow’s horse show! We’re not just making riders of kids, we’re making horsewomen and horsemen and we’re proud of it! Red aka Chrymsum Investment is a 17 hand paint. Simple changes. He would love to pilot an intermediate/advanced rider around the 2’-2’3 hunters/jumpers. Simple changes! He is a great horse to move up on!

2nd picture:
Monty aka Guilty as a Jailbird is a 16.3 OTTB. Has auto changes. Don’t let the throughbred fool you as he is definitely more go than whoa! This horse has had kids as little as 3 yr olds on him. Can take a rider up to the 2’6-2’9 for the right fit, but can definitely pilot around a younger kid who needs to learn the ropes. No buck, bolt, or spook.

3rd+4th picture:
Mick aka Painted in Black is perfect for a beginner or advanced student looking for a partner to do the 2’-2’3 with! Has simple changes. Is also great with little ones but can help any kid step up into the 2’ ring! Has shown at hunter/jumper local shows as welll as local DRESSAGE shows. No buck, bolt, or spook.

5th+6th picture:
Violet aka Forget Me Not is the most perfect pony for any beginner/intermediate. Auto changes. Has gone to many local and rated shows. Has jumped up to 2’6 so she can be really for any kid whether a beginner or someone looking to step up. No buck, bolt, or spook.

Amazing day for our team at Hidden Charm Dressage Show! Taylor McNeely high point junior rider for the day, two firsts and two seconds, Lucia Johnson at her first ever away show and first time at the canter- a win and a third, Anna and her mount Freya put down a couple of great tests and came home with two seconds, Mindy brought her boy Venice for his first ever horse show and placed fourth and Dolores rode him later in the day and snagged a blue. Extremely proud of these riders- everyone showed excellent sportsmanship and horsemanship, working out the kinks with their respective rides and taking excellent care of their partners today. That’s the real win! Many thanks to Alexandra Tomson for her hospitality and for running such a wonderful show 🍀🍀🍀

It was a busy day for many members of our team! Some of us headed to the WHVPHA Horse Show at Willow Hill where Lexi Taylor debuted with her new partner Ravenspurn after only a week together and came home with some ribbons in a big group 🍀

Hailey and her boy Kimbel rocked a clean sweep in the 2’6” hunters! 🍀

Taylor McNeely placed in all of her mini stirrup classes aboard Terence Huebner’s Frankly Scarlet 🍀

At the Garden State Horse Show Vittoria Mugnano and her pony Spencer earned a bunch of nice ribbons in their respective pony divisions working toward their goals for the year 🍀

Mindy Gutowski-Valdez and her OTTB Venice took their first trip off the farm today and participated in a Fix-a-Test at Hidden Charm Dressage with Ali Tomson in preparation for the upcoming dressage season 🍀
