Nothing like a bit of a mid-session break to make a training session wonderful!💕🐾

Belle here is such a delightful sweetheart! She loves to work, but she loves to cuddle just as much! We were taking a training break during her session and her humans captured this! She and her humans are so amazing to work with and it's clients like these that make me love what I do!

Belle has been working so hard on all of her skills and I can't wait to see what she continues to accomplish!

Biggie here is one of our newest Bro Let's Go pups and such a bright spot in my week! He's a true smarty pants and has such a s***k to him! We've been working on pattern games and strategies to help him with guests and people out of his circle! And we have some big leash goals for walking around his city with no stress!

Biggie and his humans have already made such big strides towards their goals and I'm excited to see what we accomplish!

Be chill, like Murray!😎🐾

Sometimes we all need to take a deep breath and look at how far we've come and Mondays always seem to be a great day for that! At least for me😂

Murray here is one of our newest BLG pups! He may be one of the most chill and loving pups I've had the pleasure of working with! At our first meeting, he wagged his tail and looked up at me and so politely waited for a treat and then curled up on me as soon as I sat down on the floor with him!

We're doing half session for Murray so that he (and his humans) can get the most out of his training! 1 hour seemed a bit too much for him and that's okay! It's all about what the dog needs to succeed! So far we've done the name game, touch, a release cue, and started on wait and stay!

Building each cue slowly has been so successful for Murray and truly shows that going at the dog's pace has its benefits! His human siblings also get to help with the training and are such a delight to watch work with him!

Spreading some joy on a cloudy Monday!😍😄🐾

Mo here is such a delight to work with and you can never be down with that smile around! At our most recent session, we broke down our leash skills and made so many improvements! We started inside with some foundational work and learned a "let's go-move with me" cue, before heading outside!

I can't wait till our next session! We plan to continue our leash skills and work on our recall!

Nothing better than getting treats with your sister!🥰🐾

Mary and Harper are such an awesome sister duo! I've loved watching the two of them bond since we started working together! I'm excited to see how much their bond has grown when I see them next!

At our last session, we finished up some of Mary's puppy manners and continued to work through some potty problems, but there was SO much improvement! I'm so proud of all the hard work Mary, Harper, and their humans put into their training!

Just a little happiness to get you through the week😄🐾

Guinness here is one of Bro Let's Go's newest pups! He's one of the sweetest, smartest, loveable pups I've had the pleasure to work with! And his brain power definitely makes him sleepy! He crashes before we finish most times!

We've been working on some foundational skills for Guinness with the goals of some nice leash walking, some leash reactivity, and calmer greetings of guests coming to the house! So far we've worked on attention/name game, touch, and leave it! Plus we've also worked on creating a functional greeting protocol for them and discussed how to add distractions into training to up the difficulty level for him!

I can't wait to keep working with them and see Guinness' progress!

Ivy is one of Bro Let's Go's newest pups! We recently had our first session and this tiny girl has some big brains! She learned so many new things, like Sit, Touch, and the name game!

No dog is too small to train! I can't wait till our next session to see what else we can teach this s***ky girl!

Such a great management idea! Stop the practicing of the behavior! I bought one to try out with Brodie!

Management is something every trainer I know talks about - it’s one of the first conversations I have with clients. Baby gates, x-pens, leash tethers, the list goes on…

I’ve always thought I was good at finding adaptive solutions but today I walked into a lesson and was blown away by the genius of my client! Their dog is a big boy who loves to counter surf, but also struggles with being confined.

Look at this beautiful AND creative solution they came up with! This is a portable ping pong net 🤯 I am so in love with this and was so impressed with their ingenious idea.

Yes this! They are sentient beings with their own thoughts and feelings! Sometimes we overlook that so easily because they are living in the human world, but so many issues would be solved if we just listened to them.

Step One: Take your dog's word for it.

There is a lot that behavior modification, deep understanding of a dog's social, physical and mental needs can do. There is a lot I can teach a guardian or a dog that can navigate complex, difficult situations. There is a lot I can do to help ease aggression symptoms and reroute the function of aggressive behavior. But the first step is taking the dog's word for it when they tell you they don't like something, or something makes them uncomfortable. Believe your dog.

Meet the trainer! Going into the new year I thought it was time to introduce myself!😄🤓🐾

I'm Bec! I'm a CCTA Certified Dog Trainer who is a complete nerd when it comes to canine behavior! I love learning about what makes dogs do what they do!

Brodie is the biggest influence in why I do what I do and what drove me to find my passion in this. His health and behavioral challenges have been the biggest motivation for me to help others with dogs like Brodie!

I'm excited for Bro Let's Go to continue to grow as the years continue! I can't wait to see where we are this time next year!

Exciting way to end 2023! Officially Rebecca Grant, CCDT!🎉🐾

This past year I have been working towards my professional training certification through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy. Certification is important to me because it ensures my clients are getting the most up-to-date training techniques and as most of you know, I'm a geek for canine behavior! CATCH has been a fulfilling experience and I'm so grateful for all I've learned!

I have to thank all of my clients and their dogs for allowing me to work with them as I learned new techniques to help them with their goals. My friends and family for putting up with my constant stream of canine and animal behavior facts (don't worry, those won't be stopping😉😂). And of course my husband and Brodie, who supported me every step of the way!

Graduating with Distinction was the icing on the cake of all the passion and hard work I've put into my learning! And it's only the first step! More certifications are on their way!🎉🤓🐾

It's the Friday before the holidays! Gizmo's ready for some family play time, are you?🎄🐾🎉

At our last session, Gizmo did some amazing work! We continued to work on place, stay, wait, and relaxation! I can't wait till our next session for more good work, cuddles, and play time!

Mary and her big sister Harper are two of Bro Let's Go's newest pups and so much fun to work with! Mary's the new kid on the block and learning so so fast! During our first session we worked on learning to mark behavior, when to reward, jumping on guests, sitting, touch, and her name! We worked on just a little bit of each with some play breaks and cuddles in between! And Harper learned some things too! But she was really just in it for the treats!

I can't wait till our next session to continue to work through some of our puppy training! Plus prep for the holidays! Are you ready for the holidays with your pup?
