Meet Jillian, our grooming lead at our Grand Rapids location! She obtained her schooling at the Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology and has been with us since graduating last year.

Pets I have at home: Bulldog/beagle and Boxer/pitbull

Why I chose grooming: I chose grooming because dogs give me so much joy and getting to cut their hair allows me to use my creativity in a beneficial way!

Dear Fido & Stitch Family,

We want to share an important update with you regarding our Boarding & Daycare facility in Jenison, Fido & Stitch Pet Resort. After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Jenison location (boarding & daycare facility). This decision did not come easy. However, it will help us focus our attention & resources on the locations that continue to serve our amazing customers and community.

🐶 What does this mean for you?

Our other two locations, Grand Rapids & Rockford, will remain open and fully operational, continuing to provide the same great service and experience you’ve come to know and love.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support throughout this journey. It’s because of YOU that we are able to grow and adapt, and we’re excited to continue serving you at our original locations.

Now that we're getting into Michigan's infamous 'chilly' season, we here at Fido & Stitch are eager to make sure you and your furry family are prepared to stay warm when those temperatures drop. "Howl"-ween Features!

To celebrate Halloween, the crew here at Fido & Sitch GR hosted a costume parade and even had some fun with costumes of our own! Retail and Assistant Manager Gabrielle dressed up in her handmade moth costume whereas Jillian, a Dog Groomer, came prepared to work hard in her Monsters Inc. University Sully costume! Both absolutely shivered our timbers here at the store.

In addition, some local pups and paw-rents joined us for the costume parade - featuring our shop dog, Rosie, dressed as a tin of her favorite snack - sardines! We also had a cute lil pug as a flower, a fabulous Doberman as a Ken workout doll, and an adorable Beagle-mix decked out as a T-Rex Loki! The winner of the costume test was Miss Nala who dressed as an pawsome cheerleader. Congrats to Nala and her paw-rent!
