Let’s talk “less is more” approach. We always want to start with the least amount of restraint.

So with Poppy she can sometimes either sit like a rock or be wiggly.

Today she chose wiggles. As you can see i had the grooming loops loosely around her. But once she was showing me she was getting close to the edge of table with wiggles i opted for a harness hold with the loops. This not only gives a stronger restraint it also keeps her more safe. It makes it harder for her to step off the table. But in the event if she was to fall off the table her airway is protected. She was still being super wiggly so we added In another restraint to keep her honest. Peanut butter added In and we have a happy dog for nails!

We got through our whole visit without screams! It’s a win over here 🥰

For those that didn’t know I am a licensed vet tech. That means I’m trained for medicine administrations, subcutaneous fluid administration, bladder expressions, small animals (guinea pig/rabbit/bird) nail trims.

All the fun things that most owners would deem untravelabke conditions. That’s what I’m hear for!!

My goal is always to take away stress and give you peace of mind! The goal is always out of sight out of mind for my owners because they know I have them taken care of 🫶🏻🫶🏻
