Hello everyone. Just wanted to inform you guys I’ll be unavailable until Monday.

I am taking this time to grieve and remove myself from Facebook for the weekend.
I sadly lost my friend who was also a client. And with all the political hate and stuff. It’s been draining me.

So if you reach out I will reply to you guys Monday. My mental health is very important to me at this time.

🚨 Important Update: Leptospirosis Now a Core Vaccine for ALL Dogs
The 2022 AAHA Canine Vaccination Guidelines have been updated to classify the leptospirosis vaccine as CORE for all dogs starting at 12 weeks of age – regardless of lifestyle, location, or breed.
Why the change?
🌆 ALL dogs are at risk—urban, suburban, and rural.
⚠️ Potentially fatal, even with treatment.
🔄 Zoonotic—it can spread from pets to humans.
🏢 Dogs in daycare and kennels also face exposure risks.

Yes! Love this. Lepto can spread from dogs to humans. Idk why this wasn’t a required vaccine before.

Your dogs can contract lepto from a contaminated water source such as a water bowl left outside, puddles, etc. it can also be contracted through a wild animal or another dog that has lepto and pees on something. Once that infected urine comes in contact with a dog it can cause lepto.

Lepto is a deadly disease it has to be quarantined like Parvo.

Be preventative not reactive. I’ve seen two dogs on my time span in the vet clinic have this and both had to be euthanized.
