This sweet darling was so worked up and nervous when he arrived today BUT thankfully he's a big fan of temptations treats and a sprinkle of catnip. We were pals after 10 short minutes. And he really did fantastic for never experiencing anything to do with grooming before. Thanks for being a good boy Michi!

Siouxsie came for her first groom today. She is so sweet and playful and did a really great job for her groom as well as modeling for photos afterwards 💜 pretty sure she knows she's cute!

This is Trixie. Today was her first ever groom. She's gone from living outdoors to being a refined lady lol. She got a little squirrely towards the end so we decided to be done but I still think she looks like a beauty.

Hi I'm Rocket 🚀 👋 Today was my first visit at Matted or Knot Cat Grooming. I was a little scared in the beginning but then the nice lady petting me said, "I was such a good boy!" over and over again and I started to believe it. She scrubbed me a whole bunch and I really liked it but then she made me wet. I tried to escape the sprinkler a couple of times but the lady is really fast and plucked my soapy body mid air both times and set me back down in the metal box until all of my bubbles were gone. I was so thankful that she gave me the towel burrito because I was cold but then she put a very unflattering hat on my head and turned on the crazy blowing machine. I wasn't all about that and jumped right into the lady's arms. The wind machine wasn't so scary when I was hugging her but eventually she told me I had to sit on the table so we could finish. The warm air wasn't terrible I guess but I was glad when it was over. The best part though was when the lady got out the feather toy at the end. Maybe next time we can skip the wet part and just play with the feather toy instead.

This sweetheart is MoJo. He came in to get some help with the tangles over his hips and backside. His fur is so incredibly thick! No wonder he was having trouble keeping up with all that fur. His mom and dad wanted to make sure he had a positive experience coming to our place for the first time so they gave him some meds to help keep him relaxed. Mojo sat for his groom like an absolute angel and only bothered to look back and lick/nibble when I got to his itchy spot under his mat 😆 he was so good.

Sinatra's has come in for his second groom with the help of some calming medication. He did really well this time and was not so anxtious. He was even being sweet at the end with his little nose nudge head bumps. He was much more relaxed this time. Good job Sinatra.

This is a great example of why cats need to be groomed (especially long hair cats) This kitties owner is very consistent with keeping this girl tangle free with brushing but comes quarterly so that Dee Dee doesn't get overwhelmed with hairballs. This pile of hair doesn't even include what came out before or during the bath and blow dry! Remember guys "we're hair because we care!" As a former vet tech now groomer I promise you that we sound just as ridiculous with your pet as you do when their being all cute 😆When I started to film Bobby it was because he was just being so darn adorable and silly and then I realized after watching the video how dorky I sounded so you've been fairly warned. But hey Bobby liked it lol so whatever.
