Hello to everyone! Please remember to RSVP for this Saturdays 1st annual Hallo-woof dog costume contest parade and party. Treats for both you and your furry babies and there will be five always and drawings. Pictures with a Halloween backdrop also available for $10. Proceeds go to a heart for animals rescue and free spirit husky rescue.
We are looking forward to seeing all the costumes and parading down around north town.

Kellis grooming is excited to welcome Jason Hussong! Jason is an excellent dog trainer! He also runs a husky sled team and volunteers at free spirit husky rescue. He trains at my shop in the evening. I have 2 of my dogs in class. It’s a lot of fun. If you are interested in joining a class or have any questions please contact Jason or myself.

International Dog Day is celebrated to make people aware of the importance of dogs and how they impact out lives. Come in Thursday, August 26th for a doggie goodie bag and a $5 off coupon toward your next groom. The first 5 dogs (1 dog per family) will receive a free nail trim/dremel. After that, 1/2 of the proceeds for the remaining walk-in nail trims/dremel services for the day will be donated to an animal shelter. Lastly, don't forget to thank your dogs for their service to you! 🐶

Kelli’s Grooming is moving!! Hello to everyone and my grooming clients!!
Well, first I just wanted to thank everyone that has recommended Kellis grooming and posted the very nice comments about my salon and Again thank you for that!! We appreciate that very much.
Now for the awesome news!!... Kellis grooming is moving just about block North to 3641 North Main St. at North Towne Plaza. We will be between the Swedish pancake house and subway. After may 29th we will no longer be at the current salon. The new salon is much larger and much more accommodating. Also, I will be opening a small dog/puppy indoor doggy daycare. Feel free to contact me anytime for more information. My number is 815-494-3105. We look forward to seeing you at the new bigger and better salon!! 😊🐶🐱

Great news to all Our clients! We are able to open for grooming on May 1!!
we do have to follow some strict guidelines and those are as follows:
- only one customer is allowed in the salon at a time and must wear a mask.
-please arrive at your appointment time and not late or earlier. If you are earlier you may be asked to wait outside until your appt time and if you are going to be late please call your groomer to make sure they can still see you as we cannot get behind. We must keep the number of dogs to a minimum for now.
-your pet must be picked up promptly after we finish
-you must take your pets leash and collar with you and bring back for pick up
-Should you decide to stay and wait for your pet to be groomed you will be asked to wait in your car as we cannot allow anyone to stay in the salon for health and safety reasons
-if you are someone that normally helps to assist holding your dog/cat for nail trims, unfortunately at this time we cannot have you come back in the grooming area. You will have to wait outside until we are done.
- Lastly and most important, if you have any symptoms or coming down with an illness. We ask you please to reschedule your appointment!

We are sorry for any inconvenience that any of these guidelines may have on you, however in order for us to go back to work we must follow the government’s rules.

We are excited and look forward to getting back to work and seeing all of our furry friends again!!

Hello to all our clients!! We hope you are all staying safe and healthy during our stay at home time. We want all our clients to know we are making a list to call back to schedule your dogs and cats as soon as we know when we can go back to work. You may call or text your groomer and we will add you to our list.

To all our clients. Yes, we are following the stay at home order to stay closed until April 7th. As we know getting your babies groomed is very important, it is not essential for life, as purchasing dog/cat food or vet emergencies. This virus is so serious and is spreading and killing very quickly. We want to do what’s right and get back to work with everyone staying healthy. So please follow the stay at home and only go out if absolutely necessary. As we get back to work we will get everyone in the best we can and get your fur babies all cleaned up. You may call your groomer and we will be happy to schedule your appointment starting April 8.
Please stay safe and healthy during this. Your babies don’t want to have to live without you!!!

Thanks to all of our great clients for making Kelli’s Grooming the What Rocks #1 grooming salon! We’re excited to announce that we’ve started construction to expand Kelli’s Grooming! We will have much more space to better serve you and our furry friends. We are hoping to have this completed in the next 3-4 weeks so please pardon our dust in the meantime.
