We are still unable to see clients here at Stephenson Veterinary Hospital. If you are still interested in taking your pet to see Dr. Steven Etheridge he is currently working at Auburn Animal clinic in Rockford and is also at Woodstock Animal Hospital in Woodstock. Dates and times he works does vary based on the number of clients he sees in a day so keep that in mind. A Chicago winter storm this week is forecast to dump several inches of snow on the area on Thursday and Friday ahead of the Christmas holiday.

Dangerously cold winds will compound extreme cold. Producing wind chill temperatures around -20 to -30. After the storm, forecasted highs will struggle to climb out of the single digits, and nighttime lows are likely to be below zero.

Prepare for possible blizzard conditions.
