Maddie is 15 years old and has struggled with lameness for several years. We began to suspect she may have a condition called feline osteoarthritis, or OA. This can be tricky to diagnose since cats hide almost everything, including pain.
Back in October, we began carrying a new therapy specifically for cats called Solensiaβ’. Solensiaβ’ is indicated to control pain associated with feline OA. It is given by injection once a month by a veterinarian.
If you would like your cat evaluated for osteoarthritis or have questions about Solensiaβ’, please contact our office at 616-866-1322. You can also visit www.catredflags.com to learn more about ways your cat may be trying to tell you sheβs feeling discomfort.
Please enjoy this video of Maddieβs progress over 3 months of Solensiaβ’ use!
