With all that has been happening at our ranch, and deaths in our family, it’s SO heart warming to receive a video from a buyer and best friend. This mare was a super special case as she was injured as a 2 and would need a special person to bring her back where she needed to be. She got just that!! This mare is sired by the late great Iron Age and her dam was by Luke at Me which goes back to Secretariat. She was not broke, never had a saddle on and was sold as a questionable late prospect but a definite broodmare. Today, I recieved this video. Her perfect person Mendy Dewind, has brought her along fabulously and she is developing nicely. Super Quiet! I love when you know the perfect buyer has come along for whatever you are selling. Makes my heart happy to hear back from new owners on how happy they are and how wonderful the horses are doing. 🚨SOLD🚨 2013 Gray mare by Iron Age and out of a Luke At Me dam. Ella stands 16 hands tall. She is maiden. We are cutting back and have never tried to breed her. She is not broke due to an accident when she was 3 that slit her mouth open. We turned her out to heal and have never done anything with her but normal shots farrier etc. She stands for farrier, stands tied. She will need an experienced handler. Selling her as a broodmare but could be broke to ride. If seriously interested, shoot me a message and we can discuss her further.
