We are happy to be here in the Midwest it was a long journey for our family to bring this opportunity to you, we were one of Michigan’s foremost recovery specialists dedicated 24/7 tracking teams we are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week during the open deer seasons in your state we follow all state regulations while in the field and have a perfect track record doing so. It is our goal to give

you professional advice to recover the deer on your own so contacting us before a second error occurs is vital to the recovery process without a dog being brought in. The cost generated to aide in the recovery process is $50.00 within 25miles of our location we then will charge a $1.00 per mile afterword’s. For Pike County and Calhoun County depending on location the cost should be $100-120. Current prices are set as long as fuel prices stay under $3.25 a gallon. We understand that are services are for mortally wounded deer and we base this on the info you provide, we know every hunter wants there deer recovered and in the last 7 years we recovered 100 percent of the deer that were mortally wounded, gut shots are fatal but require common sense when following up on this type of injury and we will give professional advice to every hunter on the best way to follow up on a deflected shot or hit. There are protocols that we follow and it may take time for the individual animal to expire and we determine that upon your inquiry.

Now I mentioned the other day things were changing fast and the rut here in pike county during daylight hours has dropped right off the charts slow, I’ve talked to people who are hardcore all day long hunters an there reports are from one individual he seen 23 doe on his hunt an never laid eyes on a buck Sunday the 12th of November, an a second person sat all day long this past week an had a three an half year old 8 point under him pestering a doe and a year an a half old 6pt following them around. But neither hunters had typical experiences considering where they were hunting and I’m sure the shotgun season is going to be pretty quiet out there with deer numbers extremely low and the mature deer were use to hunting in this region are just not there in numbers that they should be an EHD is taking many more than estimates have shown in the past, there are big deer being shot but nothing like the past, everybody needs to do there part in restoring deer numbers by letting the doe recover an only shoot deer that are too old to benefit the herd health next year. They need are help hunters an it’s individual efforts that are going to make this situation better next year and so on.

We had a late night with Jake and his father recovering a frontal broadside hit almost into no man’s land but the broadhead nicked the phemoral artery under the spinal chord just above the shoulder an neck region just enough to drown this buck, he was on a doe the whole time he was bleeding the track went over 3/4 of a mile with very sketchy blood trail, each bed it laid in was decreasing the blood loss dramatically at each site til finally it stopped the deer literally died 60 yards from the last drop found but it crawled thru the thickest brush you can imagine for another 120 yards to circle back on itself. Jake learned something about me tonight an quitting early when I know a shot was fatal is never going to happen, unless the spot is marked an we’re returning very soon. Believe me I get it frustrating and just miserable is a bad place to be an I completely understand why people get this way, in my book you wouldn’t be human enough not to get this way over losing any deer not just trophies. Thank you so much for taking the time to understand this kind of pursuit needs dedication at your best in these circumstances. God bless all of you that make these memories for me an my friends.

The bucks are losing weight now an there bodies are going through changes fast there necks are full blown pumped up ready to battle an there rear end looks lowered or sloped just behind the front shoulders to bulldoze any challenges for his mate , some areas are seeing fast paced action an lots of chasing going on out there so be very careful when you take a shot with any kind of weapon during this period, once the herd is mostly breed things will slow down so focus on younger doe that will come into estrous later in November and December. Good luck ladies an gentleman wear proper safety gear when hunting any elevated stands for your family please.

Clint and Brayden both score this past week , we assisted Clint on his endeavor to locate his buck, we tracked the buck an I knew he was going to die from his injury but that night I was sure we were just pushing him in circles so we made a plan with clint and he did exactly that an was successful in recovering his trophy the next morning, I cannot say this enough to every hunter out there an believe me we have all left a fatally shot deer in the woods if you have hunted with a bow for the last 45 years, Do Not Follow Up A Bad Shot with a greater mistake by not allowing the animal the proper amount of time to expire, every hunter repeats the last in this statement every time (almost) he never bedded or we never jumped him, which almost always the hunter is wrong because they never heard it or never seen it take off. Believe me when a big deer is shot he becomes a ghost an they are masters of silence, so be prepared hunters were wrong a lot but it can be a matter of calling an getting advice from a tracker like myself an putting a tag on these deer or multiplying the mistakes from the bad shot to collecting a skull next turkey season don’t be that guy if it can be avoided just call me or any tracker from United blood trackers UBT for short.

We. Had the privilege to assist are great friends Justin and his son Truman on Truman’s youth hunt Buck the deer was shot Sunday evening with a .223 using Wi******er supreme core lokt soft point ammo the shot struck the deer in the neck quartering to him an past thru the chest wall into one lung. The buck crossed the salt River twice an traveled a mile an a half before expiring, I jumped the deer on Monday afternoon an made a plan to give the deer another 48 hours an this plan worked out very well the deer was still warm upon recovery an it took away a lot of anxiety on Justin an his son has his trophy.congratulations to Justin an Truman on a very hard earned victory

We recovered a buck yesterday for Baycreek outdoors will get pics of the buck at a later time because we went straight back to work on another buck that they had for us to track, after 2 days an a couple inches of snow melt we were able to track that deer down an jump him from his bed, will go back at a later time for him. Overall it was a bitter cold day to be out in the weather but we put a smile on one hunters face.

Today was another great day we recovered a massive 8point that’s going to be well over 150 inches at 6.5 yrs gf age for are friends formerly of pike county an as always we appreciate returning to see are friends an today was no exception to that for sure. We assisted Brian and Justin first thing in the morning for Justin’s son an we are sorry that the recovery was not possible the animal will survive an it will be a little wiser for the next encounter but as lessons go every hunter has this one in there resume an it’s a bitter pill to take an double the pain for a father and son but with this experience time will sharpen your skills an one day you’ll be great doing these things on your own.

We had a great day today I recovered 2 bucks that had been out over night in 20 to 40 mph wind combined with monsoon rains the shots were lethal but I wouldn’t recommend going after the shot placement below for a minimum of 12 to 16 hours, this buck was still very warm so it had expired earlier this morning 14 hours after the shot. It traveled over 550 yards after being pushed by the hunter the night he shot it because he worried about the blood trail being washed out, please do not follow up a poor shot placement by making a worse mistake by jumping up your trophy an losing it forever because impending rain, if you know someone with a deer recovery dog rain is not a factor unless it’s going to be very warm, k9 handlers are very experienced in dealing with these scenarios so be patient an make this a successful outcome almost every time, Lucy is getting the job done as always. Thank you for being responsible hunters an making the recovery Possible by using the advice we gave you.
