The weather is clearing, however, we are still not having daycare today to make sure everything is cleaned up and our staff has time to take care of their personal homes and not risk flooded areas. All the boarding dogs are happy and had a really good nap yesterday!

Doggie Daycare will be open on Friday if there is no more heavy rain.

With the expected rain we will be canceling daycare Wednesday-Friday and will keep an eye on Tuesday.

All boarding dogs will still be fine for check in and out. We do reccomend packing extra food just in case of weather delays and having an emergency contact on file.

Our Story

We provide boarding and daycare for your pet in a fun atmosphere where they can run, play, swim and socialize with other dogs. We love to see our clients with happy, wagging tails!

Sandy Oaks Kennel is located on grounds covered with beautiful live oaks in Rockport, Texas that we have developed into a pet haven. This site is always shady and cool in the summer with wonderful southeast breezes. If you're like us, your pets have become part of your family. When you can't be home for them, whether because of work, vacation or other obligations, you want them taken care of with the same love and attention you give them. That's exactly what we do at Sandy Oaks Kennels and Daycare.
