Last Saturday, we had the honor and privilege of giving these three flat coated retriever babies their first exposure to water and swimming!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We started in our puppy pool, just giving them time to acclimate to the vest and water. They walked around and all three were READY to swim! Once they all had a few turns paddling their paws, we moved them to the bigger pool.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The only girl of the litter (blue vest) was going down the ramp on her own by the end of the appointment! All three puppies loved the water and were naturals. They were also SO SWEET and snuggly. We were so sad when the appointment was over 😭

Rare sighting of the elusive swimming Great Dane! Danes aren’t typically big swimmers, but this beautiful girl did fantastic. I’ll admit it doesn’t always go this well with Danes.😅 “Evie” was a superstar!!
