Our Story
The Doggy Dude Ranch on your way to Zion National Park ( on highway 9), we are 3.7 miles from the gate, we are a day trip from Bryce, the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas. It was started over 25 years ago so that local and vacationing dogs would have a safe, fun place to enjoy individualized care, Interactive play and socialization - in small groups (no more than 10) or solo - based on their size, age and play style or special needs. We are the first interactive day care, and innovator in less stress dog care, we are not your usual boarding or day care facility. We are a socialization destination! One of our special features is that we offer in home care ( our home), The DDR features well over 35,000 sq. ft. of fenced play parks plus swimming pools and misters in the summer and games and trail walks in the winter. We also offer several climate controlled areas for our doggy guests' comfort. Our 100 x 100 sports arena for FUNgility ( our own game,agility, rally, etc.) will also be available for your private use. We are building another fenced in area by May 2015. The owner/operator is an award winning dog trainer/behavioral consultant, lives on the premises and is supported by an experienced, loving and knowledgeable staff of pet care specialists - "Team Doggy Dudes." New Services: Canine Concierge Services looking for a certain food, toy, activity, sport, classes..........give us a call ask for Filly. The Doggy Dude Ranch offers: "Plan your dogs day" packages Fun Fun Fun for the social puppy and or adult dog. Pro Dog for the competitive or conformation dog. Solo/Senior Angels for that great dog that just does not want to be in a group of dogs. Puppy Social for puppies 8 wks to 6 months. Confidence building play and activities. -Doggie Day Care ( for all dogs) with interactive play - Boarding - Training (Obedience & Behavioral) - Bathing - Agility - Swimming / Dock Diving -Play park/ Arena Rental Owner, Filomena Diaz Johnson Thru her innovative programs and services, cage free play Filomena wants to provide less stress care as well as training for dogs and education opportunities for the human end of the leash.
