We have been breeding for over 25 years now. We are also within an hour of Charlotte NC as well. Metro area. area..

We are a small family breeder of quality rottweilers located in the Salisbury area of North Carolina. We used to be located in the Washington D.C. We frequently sold puppies and young adults to residents of Virginia and Washington D.C.as well. We were heavily involved in caring for abused and abandoned dogs working with Dr. Morley when in the D.C. In addition, we have over 16 years of dog training

and behavior modification and start training our pups as soon as they are weaned. We strive to improve our breeding pair at all times. Our dogs have a strong Schutzhund background and come from AKC and International Champion German Bloodlines. As we are a small breeder, puppies are not available on a year round basis. We generally breed our females once a year only to protect their health. A well bred rottweiler is an asset, and Champion bloodlines insure a stable temperment, a must for a family dog. As many new owners of rottweilers are unaware of how to tell a good pedigree from a bad pedigree I've included a link to terms used on AKC pedigrees and Schutzhund titles. And lastly 2 males and a female born Christmas week that won't be ready till the end of February. November and December pups are not discounted.

I am beyond irritated. This past week alone three individuals set up times to come out and see pups and I accommodated everybody's wishes. Two of them had to cancel their original time and reschedule. Now mind you they are setting the time and date. Three of them no shows no message or call. I guess I'm going to have to start a "do not sell to"list.

Some of the more famous bloodlines in dogs pedigrees. In addition there are a large number of working dogs in the pedigree as well. I still have people ask me why I stress a good pedigree so let me do that here. A pedigree that contains a large number of AKC champions or Schutzhund titles and German bred dogs is a plus.
Germany requires a dog have a working title as well as at least a good rating on conformation and good hip scores before they can be bred. They also require a dog to have the proper male look and a bitch to have a distinctly feminine quality to her look. In addition, a dog will be disqualified from a show if they display other than a stable temperament (in other words, no fearful behavior, or aggression). So a good pedigree not only helps assure a stable good temperament but also helps to ensure trainability since these dogs are well trained to get their working and show titles. A poorly bred dog may end up displaying fear aggression or other aggressive behavior as well as showing undesirable conformation traits.
Many of the dogs in our bloodlines made the top rottweilers of all time.

We are planning to introduce The Doctor Timit-Tor bloodlines into our breeding program. Our new stud is the grandson of Doctor Timit Tor. He has the larger blockier head but not the extreme look seen on Doctor Timit Tor. We are hoping this is a good match for our existing bloodlines.
