After a lot of consideration I have decided to step back from actively breeding and will be placing MOST of our dogs.

To start, I have 2 males that I will be placing for FREE and I want them to go to a permanent home. I do not want them bouncing around and returned.
I WILL BE VERY PICKY and require potential homes to come meet them here atleast 2x

No Children.

One is 5yrs and neutered. Blue Merle.
Sweet Boy, would prefer female owners and even another dog. PM for more details.

The other is a little over a year and needs to be neutered. Black Bi.
He is sweet with me and my spouse. Doesn't really care for other people so will need A LOT of patience. Might be best in a farm home/ larger property. Has shown to be submissive with other dogs. He was very well socialized as an adolescent, but has decided that he isn't a socialite.

They both will need plenty of time to adjust to a new home and both would thrive in a structured home with clear boundaries.

While I have absolutely NO problems with them here, new environments can bring up different behaviors and they will require patience.

Website has been updated!!

I have 2 older pups (male) looking for new 🏡

First one is super sweet, softer personality, loves toys!
He can be a little standoffs with strangers, but warms up very quickly.

Second one is real sweet and biddable. I am starting him on stock and he shows a lot of potential and has some grip to him too. He also enjoys toys!
Very outgoing and social.

I also have 2 adults ( 1 neutered male, 1 female) that I am placing.

It's time for Texas to find his new stomping grounds and I will be extremely picky with where he goes- no children.(He has no experience with children and needs consistency and structure) His ideal home would be with a single gal or couple who already have another dog and no plans for kids. Must be LOCAL or within a reasonable driving distance.

Quizz is a great girl and amazing mom! She is ready to go benefit someone else's program and be a great partner. She is very affectionate and obedient.
All her health testing is completed.

Ezra is a homegrown boy out of Edge & Lybbi.

He lives with us and takes after both parents, working stock and loves toys. He is a sweetheart!

Here are some still shots of the boys that are looking for their own homes!!

They are leggy right now, at 9 months, but they are maturing SO well and handsome.

(SOLD) The biggest boy(pictured 1st) is a big ole softy- he would be permanently glued to your side if he could be. He would be an ideal companion and partner.
He is a softy for his person and friendly to others.

The 2nd boy isn't too far behind on size and has a piercing blue eye. He is wiggly and well driven and is happy to come for pets. He wants to be right.
He has shown moldable drive on livestock.

**Both these ^^boys^^ have been around children and absolutely loved them. Simply due to size and being puppies, I would suggest older children.**

Lastly, and smallest in the group, is a major spitfire who is super fast with a lot of personality. He has no problem keeping up with his bigger brothers and rough houses with the best. He is very sweet and can be a little sensitive with his feelings- but he does his best to suck up to you.

ALL of these boys are doing amazing with crate training, started on leash training, socialized well, play well with others, and have great responses to training and expectations.

They have been exposed to loud noises, different equipment and toys, as well as livestock.

This Is only their 2nd time seeing the one wheel, and they are doing great!

All 3 boys are lookn for their own people/family.
9 Months.

Did instinct testing on Ducks this last week!

We had some puppies that were pretty interested, and some not as much!

We will test on Sheep in the next week!

Would love to see some local families interested in trying herding, bring one of these pups into their homes! ;)

*Male 5 was not as interested in Ducks- more interested in people.

Time sure flies when you have easy puppies!
These pups have been rockstars dealing with the recent thunder storms and tornado sirens- they handled everything amazing and weren't even phased.

They got to play in their first big puddle and LOVED it!

They met their first "strangers" and acted like they knew them- plenty of kisses to go around!

They've just turned 8wks old and are ready to got to their new homes!

We do allow scheduled visits, for serious families, to pick your new puppy.

Almost 5 wks already!!

These pups are growing- and talk about personalities!!🥰

Some noticeable traits:

Male 1 is brave about getting himself into situations(top of a dirt pile) but isn't always the bravest getting out of them 😅
Loves pets and crawling on my legs.

Male 2 is sweet and curious and happy to see me. He is a major beefcake in a little body!

Male 3 is a bit more independent, but will crawl in my lap for pets.

Male 4 is BIG time people oriented. He wants to be where you are, in your lap, in your neck, clawing to your face. Haha. He is super sweet. He is a little bear.

Male 5 is more person focused as well, smallest boy in the litter, and just SO mellow and sweet.

Female 1 is mild and observant. Sweet and will come and just chill for pets. She is built like a tank.

Little ones JUST turned 2 wks on Monday.. Eyes are open, some are starting to play and hunt mom down for the free milk bar! Haha

These puppies are now just a little over 1 day old!!

Upon closer inspection, we actually have 3 puppies that are showing natural bobtails.
(I marked on photos NBT)

We are NOT seeing any copper at this point, so we suspect all the puppies are Bi-colored.

Quizz is being a phenomenal mom!!

Quizz ended up with:
5 Boys- 2 Blue merles(1 is natural bobtail), 2 Black Bi/Tri(1 is a natural bobtail)
1 Girl- Black Bi/Tri (natural Bob tail)

These puppies have a high chance of blue eyes.

We have a really unique Minimal Merle male available if you are looking for a flashy Companion or Sport prospect!

In other news..... SURPRISE... She is due any day now!

Quizz was bred to both Edge & Ezra.
Puppies will be DNAd to see who the father is.

I am guessing puppies should range from 14in-18in.

She has been panting and restless all day today..
We are so excited to see what she will produce!

**LONG POST**
Just an Update from the Herding Trial we went to last week. Finally getting these puppies(2yrs old) out and some experience.

I am SO proud of these pups and how they did at the trial. This was their first BIG trial. Lots of noise/distractions and a lot of work for them.

Each dog had 3 runs a day on Sheep, Cattle, Geese- for 3 days.
That is 9 runs each- talk about their poor working brains exploding! 😂

We had a lot of Qs from all the dogs.
The first day was a little tough on Merle and Ezra.(Both boys are LybbiXEdge Pups) Both boys were very enthusiastic about cattle... Merle proceeded to get kicked across the head, skinning his eyebrow and Ezra got kicked across the ribs and had a knock to his confidence.

Nathra (Our Kelpie) got kicked on cattle.. But that just stokes the fire in her. Haha. She was SO impressive and those cattle learned pretty quick that she was the boss.
Several times she walked up and gave them the chance to move... then gave them a quick hit on the nose and kept working. Doing well with pressure and being SO fair.

All dogs did well on sheep and geese. They just need some miles put on them to come down from the energy of trials. Lol. Nathra and Merle consistently placed well, while Ezra Qd and finally got his confidence back on Cattle by the last day.

Nathra took a couple 1st on cattle, then took a 2nd place... since Merle decided to buck up and handle his business by taking a 1st place on cattle as well as earning us High in Trial Owner/Handler Cattle on the last day 😁
Ezra followed both dogs with a 3rd place.

She is a retired female of ours and helps with basic chores of moving stock in a controlled environment or keeping them off me when I'm feeding(which is her favorite)
