Have you ever wanted your cat to be a star? Between now (12/2/24) and Monday (12/9/24) if you send a photo of your furry friend to [email protected], it will be entered to be chosen for our reminder cards! Photos will be picked at random each month, and we are only accepting photos of current patients. Email further questions to the above email and we look forward to seeing the submissions!

We have so much to be thankful for this year, especially Diesel! Diesel came in very ill and it was determined he would need surgery in order to get him well. Diesel did great for his surgery and has been doing well since! Here at Catzablanca we are all thankful for his recovery (and his parents are too!)

Dee Dee just celebrated her 13th birthday and her parents brought her in to show her off. At the young age 4 months, a murmur was heard on the day of her spay, postponing the procedure. After getting an ultrasound, she was diagnosed as having a hole in her heart. Her parents were unsure of how long she’d survive, but once she was diagnosed and taking her meds, we were able to spay her without issue. Since her diagnosis, her parents have continued her routine checks and care, including keeping up with her meds, and have gotten her to 13! She is a true miracle!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Deborah Harris to the Catzablanca family! Dr. Harris has worked as a feline only practitioner since 2003, starting her own feline only practice in 2006 in Newport, RI. Wanting to leave ownership, but continue to practice good feline medicine, Dr. Harris sold her practice and joined our team! Now she can enjoy the best of both worlds continuing to practice good feline medicine (from May-November) and then snow birding! She is a wonderful addition to the family!

Special birthday wishes to Hazel who just turned 1! Hazel was diagnosed very early on with leukemia, and had been hospitalized several times through her first year. Thanks to her parents diligent care and staying on top of her rechecks, Hazel has made it to her first birthday!
