Toodles, Sammy, and Grover wish everyone a happy holiday season!

All three are available for adoption.

Toodles is the tabby with white, very independent but sweet and playful kitten. She has short little legs and loves to have her back scratched. She takes a little time to warm up but when she does, she’s a very easy and great little kitty. She will entertain herself for hours given toys but also enjoys playing with the other kittens. She does great with cats but is still a little shy with dogs unless they are very calm and mind their own business.

Sammy is the solid brown tabby and has been through a lot. He is still under medical attention but otherwise doing great. He is a very hyper and playful guy but also settles down and loves to cuddle with other kitties or his person. He does great with other cats and dogs and doesn’t seem to be scared of anything.

Grover is the buff tabby and is the most affectionate of the three. He loves to follow people around begging for attention and is a purr machine. He’s a ravenous eater and loves to sit on a lap to cuddle. Him and Sammy are very close and love to sleep with each other. He also does well with other cats and dogs. He’s not scared of anything either.

This sweet male hound was found on Edwardsville Rd in Hardy. If anyone is missing him please contact the humane society. He is kept up for now; he’s been running the road for about an hour.

This very sweet lady is Edna and she has fallen sick and started shutting down at the shelter. She won’t eat for us and is continuing to lose weight. She absolutely loves affection and wants to rub her head on you when you sit with her. She also likes to scratch on her cardboard box. She’s just not feeling good and will not do well if she continues to stay here. If there is anyone who is willing to meet this precious soul and take her home to make her feel better, we think it would really help her. She just wants to be with people. Can you be her hero today? 🖤

Are you lonely? Does your Valentines Day look uneventful? Well come on down to Franklin County Humane Society this Saturday and get your photo with one of our amazing adoptable pets! You can choose from our K9 kissing booth, or our feline hissing booth!!! Saturday 12 -2 p.m.! For a donation of $10 you can have a personal valentine to send to your loved ones or if you donate a box of dental treats for our residents, we’ll shoot Cupid’s arrow straight through that price and make it $5!!!
