Dear Friend,
During the Advent season, we are reminded to rest and wait expectantly, with hope, peace, joy, and love, for the arrival of our King.
In these photos, you see a reflection of Advent. Biblically-based Equine Assisted Programming brings hope, peace, joy, and love. Our clients rest and wait expectantly for the healing that is coming. It is such an honor to be able to watch God bring that healing to so many through our amazing herd.

Full Surrender…
Recently, I stood with the donkeys during morning feeding, breathing in the crisp air and watching the wind blow the leaves on the trees. Some leaves desperately needed to fall, yet they clung on for dear life, holding on by a thread and not wanting to let go. This got me thinking about how we often cling to our sense of self by a fragile thread much longer than we should. I asked myself, why is full surrender so hard? It seems we hold onto a warped sense of self, thinking, “I’m good, I’ve got this, or I don’t want to bother God with this,” among other excuses.
As morning barn chores ended and I made my way back to the house, I stopped to look at another group of trees. As I stood there, several leaves let go and gracefully floated to the ground. It was a beautiful picture of how full surrender brings freedom. Letting go allows God to do the necessary work in our lives; He doesn’t bring us crashing down or separate us from those we love. Instead, He is gentle, kind, and loving.
I’ve observed numerous clients arrive for their initial session holding onto their emotional and mental burdens for dear life. Their faces often reflect a fear of letting go of what they carry. With each subsequent session, I’ve watched God guide them toward a place of full surrender. It is a beautiful thing to witness someone let go of their struggles and embrace a sense of peace as they allow God to carry their heavy load.
Matthew 11: 28-30 TPT
28“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. 29 Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways, and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, and easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. 30 For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”
By giving a year-end or monthly donation to Peaceful Pastures, you can join us in supporting the transformation of others who are in desperate need of full surrender. To d

Today we experienced Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength Care as we Connected with God and each other. It was a special day!
“Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”” Mark 12:29-31 ESV

Grateful🙌🏻
Come Lord Jesus…You are welcome here🙏🏻
Oh what a night🙌🏻
Psalm 147:1-7 TPT
“Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! How beautiful it is when we sing our praises to the beautiful God, for praise makes you lovely before him and brings him great delight! Yahweh builds up Jerusalem; he gathers up the outcasts and brings them home. He heals the wounds of every shattered heart. He sets his stars in place, calling them all by their names. How great is our God! There’s absolutely nothing his power cannot accomplish, and he has infinite understanding of everything. Yahweh supports and strengthens the humble, but the ungodly will be brought down to the dust. Sing out with songs of thanksgiving to the Lord! Let’s sing our praises with melodies overflowing!”
