It’s time for Trivia night again at Peaceful Pastures! Invite your family and friends to come out on MAY 17TH at 5 p.m. and support our Equine herd with an evening of friendly competition. We will have prizes for the winning table and a 50/50 raffle. Single tickets are $35 or you can purchase a table of 6 for $180. This year’s ticket also includes a delicious taco dinner!

We had such a special session at Be Transformed at Peaceful Pastures today focusing on silence and solitude. There were tears, there was laughing, there were breakthrough moments and there was growth. It was a day to remember!

Dear Friends,

Today, before I sat down to write to you, I read the end-of-year emails from some of our partners and felt a bit of anxiety rising. Thoughts like, "Our numbers aren't anything like theirs," "Did we do enough in 2024?" and "Are we worthy of this ministry?" began to surface. But then the Lord reminded me that He goes after the one, so if what we do here brought just one person closer to the Father, we did enough. We touched over and above that this year. He also reminded me that we are here not of our own accord but because He placed us here. How freeing that was!

As 2024 comes to a close, I want to thank each of you for all the ways you supported us in this first year as a non-profit. From words of wisdom to volunteering to prayers to monetary giving, we truly could not have made it through without you! We look forward to what God will do here in 2025 and are excited to share in all the goodness with you. Again, thank you!

Dear Friends,

Giving Tuesday is here! Now is the time to make a difference. Read below…

Emma arrives at the farm each week sullen and sad, she carries a heavy load. At first I would wonder, What can we do to help her? Will she come out of this shell? Will her eyes twinkle by the end of our session? 

But now, many weeks later, instead of those wonderings, I wait expectantly to see how God will replace the sullenness and sadness with His joy. Recently, we did partner poses during our breath and movement session, she spent time talking with Bubbles and she also rested on Sammy’s back. She left here filled to overflowing with the joy of Christ. Praise Jesus!

Emma’s journey of experiential soul-care, the healing of her heart, soul, mind, and strength is only possible because of the generosity of friends like you.

“Seeing my son grow in confidence of who he has been created to be has been the biggest blessing over the past year. Middle school years can be a challenging time for many kids and Peaceful Pastures has become a space of peace and rest for his anxious heart. From birth, he has had an immense love for animals and on his very first visit to Peaceful Pastures, immediately connected with a horse named Sam. Watching their connection grow throughout his lessons and seeing the ripple effect of that confidence spill over into his daily life has been beautiful. I’m truly thankful for my son to be a part of the unique and life-giving offerings of the Peaceful Pastures community.”
