It’s only mid-January and I’m so over winter this year! It is nice to not have mud though and hopefully the cold kills some parasites. But by golly, we sure are burning through hay this winter.

We strive to produce quality myotonic, pygmy and market goats. Our primary focus is on developing a competitive, hardy market goat our human kids can use for 4H projects.
Along the way with developing a market goat, we fell in love with the myotonic (fainting) breed. They are low maintenance, hardy and docile. The myotonics are also easy kidders and great mothers. Our foundation sire is Permanent Grand Champion (PGCH) Goat Hill Farm Nate. Nate has been with us since he was about 5 months old. We recently added a second buck, who is also showing great promise in the show ring even at such a young age. All our our myotonics are registered with the Myotonic Goat Registry (MGR). While the pygmies are for fun, we kept breed character, conformation, kidding ease and personality at the top of our list when selecting our foundation herd. All of our pygmies are registered with the National Pygmy Goat Association (NPGA).
For our market goats, we cross registered myotonics and registered boers. We are thrilled with the results!
