11/1 Super sweet. Approaching kennel dog was laying down in the corner. She seemed timid and kept eye contact with me. I began to baby talk and she wagged her tail and started to lean on her side and look at me with soft eyes. She also began to raise her paw for me to pet her belly. I began to pet her and she remained on her side with closed eyes, liking lips and a wagging tail. I placed the leash but she did not walk out. I carried her outside and placed her in runs. She began to greet
her neighbors. When coming back to get her, I placed the leash and she walked well and loosely but froze as soon as we got close to the room, carried her back into kennel.

10/30 wagging tail, does not walk on leash ahd to carry to next kennel

A: alopecia living in same environment with sarcoptes and hookworms/roundworms
P: ivermectin inj 0.23cc SQ q2weeks x 3 treatments
panacur susp 4cc PO SID x 3 days

Hi everyone, my name is Buffy, I was formally known as Kelsey. I wanted to wish my foster mom, Maria Bailey a Happy Birthday!🎂 I also wanted to tell her not to worry about me because my family in Michigan loves me and treats me great. ❤️ I know I was in bad shape when my foster mom took me in, but I was nursed back to health in the 6 months she fostered me. Anyway, I hope she has a wonderful birthday because she is a very special lady. 🥰🥰🥰

Beau(formerly Memphis) loves his sister Buffy(formerly Kelsey). Thanks again to the Wilbur family for adopting not once but twice! Maria Bailey , Mark Doyle, your fosters are doing well.❤️

Rye is doing well with her new family.🥰 Our Texas dogs seem to love the water and we are so grateful to the Neimetta's for letting her experience these things. Again, we have the best adopters. Thank you Nina and Jeff for loving her. ❤️

These two dogs haven't had it easy. One of them is LDAR'S very own Scotty. He was the one that was shot in the back end and then ran over. After many surgeries, Scotty is doing well and looking for his furever home. Scotty is in Texas right now with his medical foster and has been for some time because of all the hospitalizations. He loves it at her house and also has a best friend there, named Coco. She is the other yellow dog in the video. Coco is about 7 years old and is dog and people friendly. Coco had a sad life too, but was eventually rescued. She was on her way to finding a home, when the rescue abandoned her.😢 Coco too is looking for her furever home. We know it is a long shot, but with all the heart ache these dogs have been through, wouldn't it be awesome if they could find a home together? We know adoptions are slow, but if everyone could share this post, it is always a possibility. They both deserve happiness. ❤️

Finn (formerly) Louie has the best life with Katie and her husband. We rescued this silver muzzled pup from Harris County a few months back. He went from a sad, shut down senior to an energetic fun loving dog. We have the best adopters.🥰 **To see how he progressed, look at his shelter picture in the comments😥**

Based in Northeast Michigan, our mission is to rescue, foster, and find homes for as many animals as we can. When we rescued our sweet Liberty Belle, they said “if she had one dream, it’d be for a home...if she had two dreams, it’d be for her friends to have homes too.” We want to honor the wish of our Libby girl and find homes for all the animals in need. Liberty’s Dream is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We are a volunteer-based group with members in Rogers City and Grand Rapids, Michigan. We rely solely on donations that are used for food, medical care, and transportation. Although we are a small organization, we are a dedicated and passionate group that hope to inspire people to look to shelters or rescues for their next animal.
