Our first bunny Fluffy, Mother of all the Shiner Bock Lop bunnies in our page’s photo, was dead in her cage this morning in our garage.
We wouldn’t have any bunnies if not for this one.
Her babies are the three Lops photographed that we share with the community and take to local schools. It’s a hard day at the bunny house.
“I don’t know how to cry when I mourn”, said her boy. I told him that’s okay, tears aren’t proof of greater love. Keep her alive in the stories you write and your joyful heart. (and I cried enough for an army anyway.)

Goldie has been one of the best mommy bunnies I have ever seen. We are looking forward to her next litter. She will miss these babies for sure, as she kept them a long time in her burrow.

Our little grey Lop was AWOL for a few days. Dave was worried that she might have become a tasty treat for someone’s cat. I told him she was somewhere close! She was in the neighbor’s yard with their old golden retriever, living a life of peace and quiet under a tree.
We got her back! 😃
Angel has licked her sweet friend clean and they are taking a nap!

We had a run away! The little gray bunny decided to go on the lam. The neighbor asked me today if we we were missing a bunny.
After chasing her through three yards we got her back!!!
Thankful!
Haven't seen her in 5 days.
