The drama engulfing the Egyptian animal rescue scene is beyond belief. It's utterly ridiculous. That's why I've steered clear of social media. Every ounce of my time and energy is devoted to caring for our rescue, a labor of love Ibrahim and I have tirelessly nurtured for nearly four years. Our doors are open to anyone who wants to witness firsthand the unparalleled quality of care our animals receive. For us, their well-being is paramount, and we refuse to get entangled in the petty, nonsensical drama that seems to plague the rescue community. But today marks a turning point. I've reached my limit. The way I've been treated, the way I've been talked about within this community—it's unforgivable. As of now, I'm washing my hands of fundraising for any Egyptian animal rescue. Enough is enough.
