Hello. My name is SQUINTY. I am partially blind but that doesn’t define me!! I can get around just like any other cat. I love to play with my toys, and sometimes wear my comfy kitty clothes. What I love most of all is HUGS and all of the pets I can get. I love to cuddle up close and purr away. I love to just be close to you and feel loved. I just want to find my fur ever home and be the best addition to your family for Christmas! They tell me here at the shelter that I am so special. I deserve a chance to steal your heart. Please consider helping with our long time resident Lucia. Once you get to know her she is extremely affectionate and loving. She loves to lay next to you and just hang out. One of the few dogs that does not try and run away but wants to stay by you for attention. She gets along with many other dogs. She is smart and can learn basic commands. She can show aggression to strangers, so care must be given. We have been working with Lucia to be more friendly to strangers but she needs to earn trust. It may take 4 to 5 visits to win her over. Then care must be given at your home with new people. We recommend using a crate training approach. We will help with the transition to a new home, provide free food and help with her veterinary bills over the first year. Border Collie mix, 3- 4 years old, female, spayed.

Found Dog Needs Rehoming. My son is a medical student at Lincoln Memorial U. He and his roommates found an older dog that had been badly mistreated and neglected. They took him to the vet and the dog is now on a month long treatment to get rid of lyme disease. They can not keep the sweet old pup because it is against their lease agreement. However, they want to make sure he is well cared for. My son is so worried about this little guy, but he has no option to keep it. We are in desperate need of help. MEET GIGI - GiGi is a super nice and precious gal. She is a little shy but warms up. Gigi is one of the more loving and sweet dogs at the shelter. She has low to moderate activity. She is great to be around. She is OK with kids. She gets along with many other dogs. She is crate trained. She loves to play with squeaky toys. Please rescue her, she has been with us 2-years. This baby was Running down main street in Surgoinsville by the middle school. I tried to catch it but it wouldn’t let me get close to it last place it ran to was the fire station in Surgoinsville. Please come see these 7-8 month old precious pups. These puppies are full of love and play and looking to have a family to enjoy!! They are affectionate, curious cutie pies! The are all really good and pretty well behaved. You should see them to see how nice they are. Should be medium to medium-large in size.
