Help! Our Pet Food Pantry shelves are empty!

We provide dog and cat food (both dry and canned) to those in need. With the cost of everything rising, sometimes a little help with pet food is all that stands between a dog or cat and an empty tummy at the end of the month.

Can you help? We accept open bags (for example, if you've switched foods for your pet) as long as they are sealed and labeled. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter anytime at 301 J. Rogers Lane—just leave them on the picnic table in front of our building. Or, if you prefer, our lobby is open Friday–Sunday from 1:00 to 5:30 PM.

Let’s help our neighbors keep their pets by providing nutritious food for them. Thank you!

We were fortunate to receive a generous donation from TruVet Specialty and Emergency Hospital and Pets Lifeline of Sonoma Valley, and we’re truly grateful for the support. It was also heartwarming to have an alumni dog visit us, adding an extra touch of joy to the day. It’s a reminder of how lucky we are to be part of such a thoughtful and caring community. Thank you all for your kindness and generosity! 🐾💜

There are so many reasons to be thankful for the outcome of our Donation Drive!😇

The kindness of our clients as well as our staff positively glows neon bright looking at the turn out for our first go running a drive like this! We had enough to split into piles for 2 facilities this year- one of which gave us MORE items to donate to the second!🤯 generously gave us over 10 boxes of bowls to add to our stock for , exemplifying the meaning of community coming together. In total, we received a full barrel's worth (at least!) of new and used toys, canned food and treats, 12 boxes of ceramic bowls, and 2 ENORMOUS dog beds!

Another bonus treat: getting to reunite one of RPAS's phenomenal employees Taylor with one of her former fosters who happens to be both an employee pet and a patient of the hospital! Gidget was fostered through RPAS for four months and nursed back to health with painstaking care in 2021. Taylor was thrilled to see her former foster baby looking so healthy (thanks in no small part to her ongoing care from TruVet!), and we are proud to be able to give back in even small ways to both of these organizations.

We can't wait for the next donation drive to check more rescues off our list, and we are so thankful to everyone who contributed this year.

Looking for a great family dog? Look no further than Enzo, a 3-year-old husky heartthrob with charm to spare! This handsome fluff came to us as a stray, and although his previous family couldn't reclaim him, they gave us some background on him. And it's all good news! Enzo isn't just a pretty face (though, let's be honest-he's gorgeous). He's a certified family guy, having lived happily with kids, another dog, and three cats. Whether it's playtime in the yard, snuggles on the couch, or epic walks around the neighborhood, Enzo is ready to be your loyal sidekick. Come meet this dreamy husky and see why he's the perfect fit for your family. Enzo's waiting, and he can't wait to steal your heart!

Borrowed this from the Humane Society of Sonoma County since they said it so well. Everyone is eager to help our neighbors in the south during this crises - thank you for your calls and offers of help. We have also taken in a few small animals from the LA area and will continue to assist as we are able.
