Lots of desensitization going on with the babies recently! They have also been focusing on learning how to stand patiently and wait for their turn!
All are well mannered and doing great 🤩
Students got to play a new game yesterday, learning all the parts of a horse and chose Jax as their horse to learn on! This is a video of their “quiz” at the end of their game. Great job boys! 🤩
Turnout time is their favorite 🤩
Rosie and Holly love to run to the back pastures on their days off from therapy!
Students got to get their gifts from instructors yesterday, and play a fun candy cane game with them!
We hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and has a happy new year! 🎊
McQueen has one of the best personalities in the barn, if left alone he tends to find ways to pick on us 😂
Here is a video of him after we caught him opening the door and pulling things off the wall in the tack room last week 🤦🏻♀️
Sticking his tongue out at us at the end was just him, adding some extra flare to his tricks 🤩 smiling and sticking his tongue out are two of his favorites!
💥students got to have some fun relay races today‼️
The barn care team was even able to get in on the action too‼️
Below is a video of one of the races from today 🤩
This is a fun way to work on
🌟 leading independently.
🌟placing the horses feet where they want them.
🌟confidence.
Stormy had a blast swimming 🏊♀️ in the puddle that’s in her paddock from the rain ⛈
We love watching our babies play and learn about new things within their environment‼️
This may look like just a puzzle or two being put together to most but to us it was a huge accomplishment‼️
When Sean started coming to us he was overstimulated and had to leave within 15 to 20 minutes of his session. Our goal quickly became working on focus and not becoming over stimulated.
Dependent upon weather now we are able to
💥take walks to look for 🦌 deer and turkey 🦃
💥pet horses 🐎
💥 read books 📚 about horses
💥work on puzzles 🧩
💥 work on colors and numbers with uno cards
Today he was doing so well I decided I would try something new 🤷🏻♀️
I took both puzzle boards and sat them infront of him and mixed the pieces up. He did it with no problems!! 🤩
Sean now stays his entire session and looks forward to coming‼️
Progress comes in all forms and at all speeds, we are proud of you Sean!!
This video is just a blooper from this session, but it is a perfect way to explain why we designed pepper how we did!!
In this video you see the student pull his reins too hard, and his neck goes over too far. This was designed this way intentionally so that we can explain how important “soft hands” are when riding‼️
Instead of pulling hard and making the horse have too much pressure on their mouths and polls we teach students to softly ask and release the pressure once the horse has done what is asked 🐎
Pepper 🌶 is one of our favorite training tools and we love having him to use!
🌟This is only 7 seconds of a 30 minute session, but Fendi did great today!!🌟
Fendi was spooking and all over the place at the beginning of this session, and by the end of her session today we had complete control of her feet 👣 and she locked 🔒 onto each handler she had‼️ (several of us took her through to ensure she would lock onto more than one person)
We love 💕 the running Bred babies 🐎 they’re so smart and willing 🤩
💥McQueen was taken back to ground zero this week!
It may not look like much is going on here, but our sweet McQueen was growing accustomed to being allowed in his handlers bubble.
Here he is learning to move off of a calm, quiet command and stay in his own space while doing it‼️
It is so important to teach a horse 🐎 how to respect and please their handler in a calm quiet fashion. We take pride in our horses operating out of respect and not fear!! ✊
🤩 This is proof that you can teach and even remove poor habits without being rough!!
It was hard to video and lead but stormy is doing fantastic 🤩
She is the first baby out of Enzo Fame and she is SO SMART and WILLING‼️‼️
In less than 5 minutes she was walking over both of these obstacles!!
Progress 🤩
🌟Baby Vegas learned how to go over some obstacles today and did fantastic‼️‼️
🌟Matt and Bennett had a great session today‼️🌟
We changed the obstacle course up and they did a fantastic job🤩
🎥 In the video below, Matt takes Bennett through the entire course by himself, this is a first for him‼️‼️
💥Matt also learned how to correctly and safely feed treats 🍬 and back Bennett up after the video.
Great job Matt and Bennett! 🐎
✨Bennett is singing ”rain, rain go away”✨
🐎 our sweet boy is bored and wants to go play but can’t because of the rain 🌧
He has so much personality we are lucky 🍀 to have him 🤩
🌟Todays sessions were all a success‼️🌟
Below is a video of Cassie with Holly playing red light green light 🚦
We try to keep our sessions fun and upbeat, and still teach as much as we can with our equine partners 🐎
Today Cassie learned
✨check and release
✨properly backing her horse
✨controlling the pace she leads her horse
✨following direction
Great job Holly and Cassie🤩

As promised here is Bennett 🐴 helping Alex, one of our students gain some confidence💥
Alex told his instructor he was afraid to try a new horse at the beginning of this session, she ensured him Bennett was a great horse and she wouldn’t walk away until she knew he was ready.
By the end of the session he led Bennett through 3 obstacles and was so proud 👏
Bennett and Alex are lucky 🍀 to have each other‼️
This session with Bennett taught Alex
✨it’s okay to try new things
✨trust
✨how to breathe and push through fear
✨how great it feels to accomplish new things
💥This is Brian that we featured in our previous session‼️
🌟Here he is 6 weeks later!! He has accomplished so much in two 6 week sessions‼️.
🌟Team building🌟
🌟leading with help of instructor 🌟
🌟following multi step directions while leading🌟
🌟overall horsemanship skills🌟
✨That’s all in the arena and barn setting ‼️
💥At home this has helped Brian too‼️
✨He is now successfully completing goals at home ✨
✨following directions ✨
✨working better with others✨
🔆Our students set weekly & long term goals, 🎯 this allows them to see their progress ⏰
💥Builds confidence
💥Keeps them motivated
😎We are proud of each of them‼️
🌧Rainy days call for team building exercises indoors‼️
🔆Our instructors challenged students with supplies to work together building their own obstacle course ‼️
Our students got to experience:
🌟How to communicate with others
🌟Voice their opinions
🌟Problem solve
🌟And accomplish a task they set
🌟Builds Trust
This was done during the first course when students were still learning how to stay in their safe zone, and lead their horses with the assistance of their instructors.
