The Rolla Animal Shelter has received authorization to accept citizen volunteers at the shelter. In the past, citizens have enjoyed coming into the shelter and spending time with the animals.

Just being able to spend one on one time with the animals has been a huge stress reliever for many people.

If you are interested in doing that again, come by during operating hours and get to know our dogs and cats. You will be required to complete a brief "release of claims" form before you take the animals out.

I have tried to not raise prices, but with rising operating costs, unfortunately I need to raise them. Any current reservations will have the original price honored, but starting Monday May 6th, nightly rates will increase to 30$ but we will be offering a 10% cash or check discount. Grooming prices will increase by about 5$ to 10$ depending on the groom, hut will be given the cash discount as well.
