Welcome to Critter Creek Farms LLC, formerly Country Fresh Farms. In August 2021, we made the decision to relocate our farm from Elbert Colorado to the gorgeous Ozarks in Rolla, Missouri. Abundant pasture, clear, live spring water, and a longer growing season caused us to fall in love with the area. Our passion is to produce the best tasting, highest quality food for you and your family. We specia

lize in Grass fed beef, pork, eggs, dairy goats, and Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardian dogs. We milk Nubians for the rich, delicious milk. The chickens are fed organic grains that are not genetically modified, and have no soy. Such high quality feed makes super healthy livestock. Our Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs are also supplemented with our raw goats milk and raw meat. The high quality diet keeps them strong and healthy while they guard our livestock and they have super healthy, big puppies! We usually have 2-4 litters a year. Come visit, we love to share our farm!

Pure contentment. Big Mo now patrols the property at night and is enjoying morning rubs . We have lots of deer that eat the fruit trees and garden so he is invaluable at keeping them at bay.

Update from Louisiana!
We are enjoying Cashmere (the pup we called Goliath)😊. He is so sweet. He loves to be loved. He sleeps well at night. Potty training is a success. A little nipping, but they explore with their mouth 😊

Hi Michelle! I have been meaning to text you! The kiddos took this pic of Miryam on her birthday to send to you and the days have just been getting away from me. We are doing great! The kids are loving homestead life here. We have chickens and ducks and are working on a summer garden. 😃
Also, we cannot thank you enough for Miryam. She is such a delight. She has the funniest personality...she literally prances around like a princess but will also clobber you for hugs and love.😂 She has brought us so much joy and a whole lot of laughs!

Hi Michelle 👋🏻Just wanted to send some picks of Mayla 🐶 She turned 2 years old. She was Gingers spring 2022…. Mayla has turned out to be an amazing dog! So loving and gentle 💘 she enjoys our mountain walks. She is a big protector walking around checking on everything day and night! She is treated like a princess but she loves to dig and play in the mud. We love her so much!

All goats milk is A2A2, and is very digestible for those who are lactose intolerant. We feed organic grains, alfalfa and pasture. Rolla, MO. A true super food! We had a fantastic experience with Critter Creek Farms, finding just the right pup for our family and farm. From the very start, Michelle was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had, and really helped us choose the right pup for our situation and needs. She has always been available for any questions we’ve had since bringing him home, as well! Samson has been a fantastic dog, and we could tell he was loved and well cared for from the moment we met him, and he quickly found a forever spot in our family. He is healthy and strong and he protects our children and our homestead well. From the very first day, he has shown us what a kind and obedient dog he is, and interacts pleasantly with our older working LGD. Should we ever need to add another Great Pyrenees to our farm, we know exactly where we’d go. Thank you again Mark and Michelle for such an amazing pup!

I am reposting a great article about training your GP to protect your poultry. Our greatest challenge has been our Pip as we did not have chickens when we first relocated to Missouri and she was not exposed to them right away. Training her has been a challenge. However!!! Patience and consistency is the key. Pip loves to please and finally connected our strong disapproval with her bad behavior around the flock, and is now trustworthy and a great guardian. As we know EVERY dog is different. Moses and Misha needed no training at all. Let me know what you think of this article. Did you know goats are related to the deer family? They are browsers not grazers! They love anything with leaves, stems, thorns, etc. Grass is one of their last choices for forage 😊. It is a myth that goats will eat anything. Given a choice, they choose plants that grow head high or higher.
