Tomorrow is our annual Halloween costume contest.
Time: 6 pm
Where: basement of the Rolla Animal Hospital (1011 stoltz rd). Entrance around back.
Cost:$15 (part of 6/12 month social package & Lifetime packages)
All dogs will receive treat goodie bags.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd best dressed dog & 1st for best dog & human themed outfits.
After paying fee and short paperwork will take photo asap. Photos will be texted/emailed (owners choice).
After pictures have been taken awards will be given.
After awards we will announce silent auction winners. All proceeds of silent auction will benefit Phelps County Animal Rescue.

Monday is our annual Dogtastic Halloween costume contest.
Time: 6:00 pm
Where: basement of the Rolla Animal Hospital (entrance around back).
Who: any dogs (client or non client). Must be able to supply proof of rabies vaccine if asked.
Cost:$15/dog
We will have 3rd, 2nd & 1st place and 1st place for dog & owner combination costumes.
Not able to attend? Can also post a photo to our page for one lucky winner to win prize from online post to page. If you participate in person will not eligible for online voting.
*6 month, 12 month social packages and lifetime packages include fee for this event*

Currently building where classes are held is getting siding done on backside where our entrance is. They have several pieces of equipment around back and scaffolding up.
We are highly recommending to park up top or to park on road that goes around back. If park on road that goes around back please leave room for people to use road and provide plenty of room in front/back of your vehicle.
Also, there is a scaffolding support right by our entrance, so please be VERY careful young entering facility

Have a puppy or know someone with a puppy? Class meets Sundays at 4:30 pm. One time fee of $20. Can come to as many classes up till 18 weeks of age.

A week ago today, we had our 8th annual Ranney Run at Veterans Memorial Park. We would like to thank all of our sponsors, silent auction/raffle item contributors, volunteers and 5K/dog show participants for coming out to make the 2024 Ranney Run a success! With your efforts, we raised $10,000 for this year's event, totaling over $70,000 cumulative earnings within the past 7 years for the new Rolla Animal Shelter!

The Ranney Run was created in 2016 in memory of Mark Ranney, Bonnie Ranney and Mary Ensign who we know would be so proud of the Rolla community (and beyond!) for supporting the Ranney Run every year in our efforts to raise funds for the construction of the new animal shelter. The Ranney Run will continue to raise money for the shelter until it is complete and thank everyone who helps make our events a success year after year!
