Sorry for no posting in so long! With the crazy schedule, non stop traveling, and forgetting to take pictures, I just haven’t had the time.
We got to spend a couple week in the eastern states resetting some Percherons, Belgians, and Clydesdale-Hackney crosses.
Get ahold of us today and we will try to get you on the schedule as soon as we can! Cold wet weather is coming around the corner, time to get resets and trims done!

Whatta week, almost finished!
Yesterday we had amazing weather with a few new clients.
Starting the day out with getting these beautiful Canadian bred Percheron mares where they need to be. Front sets, and boy oh boy did they walk off happy!

Lots of late nights lately, but it’s all worth it in the end. The satisfaction of ending these days on great notes is something I strive for.
Got a nice little Clydesdale hackney cross shod up and couldn’t be happier with how this little filly behaved. I praise God daily for the work he provides but I thank him a little more when he gives me one’s with quality and patience..

We are coming up close to a lot of northern Indiana county fairs, make sure to get your horses feet taken care of so they are at peak performance!!!
We’ve spent a lot of time lately getting everyone done up but there’s more to be done!!

Been another hot and busy week! Haven’t had a whole lot of time to post or even take pictures. But was able to set a late night aside to reset our mares.
Really starting to like the way this mares feet are coming! Did someone say world show in September?

Incase anyone was curious why getting a horse shod costs what it does, this is;
6 pairs of shoes
1box of nails, which will only cover a few horses
1 rasp, which will only serve for about 5-8 horses
Copper sulfate, which will only dress about 10 horses
And buffing disks, which will only work for a hand full of horses
All together was just under $400, that’s not including tools, pads, hoof packing, sealant, and TIME!!
So, instead of trying to get your farrier to let you off $10 or so, just be thankful and get them a dang water!

Oh what a wet two weeks it has been😩
But the world keeps spinning and feet keep growing!
Finished off the day with a nice reset of a Belgian mare getting her feet figured out for the season ahead!

Haven’t had much time to post lately, books have been BUSY!
Spent the last few weeks catching up on some shoe work and getting routine trims done on the fly!
Also been spending lots of time with good friend Jared Avina ‘Nailed to the Cross Farrier Services’ helping him knock out some awesome barns and horses.

Started the morning off with a nice little shoe job on a mare who went all winter with almost no hoof care😅
