Continuing education is so important to me in my pet grooming business. This past weekend I was able to attend a seminar with world famous groomer Blake Hernandez to learn awesome techniques and styles for schnauzers, poodles, Bichons and doodles. Thank you A Bark above Pet Salon for hosting and planning this event! It's always great to share our love of dogs and our skills. 🐾🫶👏

This guy was so much fun to groom! Mama was doing a fantastic job brushing him at home, but the length of his coat was getting overwhelming, so we did a cute teddy bear look. 😍🥰😘🐾

Calling all puppies! We are hosting a Puppy Workshop at Unleashed Pet Salon! Two pet professionals – Kim Angell, (owner and pet groomer of Unleashed Pet Salon), and Bree Anne Beck (professional dog trainer) are partnering to provide you and your furry companion helpful tips and activities for grooming and training. The class is one hour long and participants will receive a puppy goody bag with a brush, comb, toothbrush, and training treats. Class is Friday, February 23rd from 6 to 7 PM and costs $45. Hey! Does your dog need groomed? We have a couple of openings Friday March 31st. You must text (or call and leave a message) at (260) 303-7387 to request an appointment. Current rabies and DA2PP records are required in advance. If you get the appointment, you will also have the opportunity to get on our regular schedule for grooming every 4-6 weeks.

Yes to this!

Your dog needs training, grooming, and vet care.

Trainers, groomers, and vets love dogs. It’s why we do what we do.

Your dog however likely hates training (parts of it), bathing, shots and surgery.

Then the dog gets picked up and owners are like “aww poor baby didn’t have fun?” No lol. We provide a service and parts of it can be fun, sure. But you coddling and feeding into the “save me, mommy” attitude from your dog is compounding the issue.

And all of this, frankly, hurts our feelings a bit. We try to make everything as enjoyable as possible, but no one can MAKE me like spiders, balloons, or heights. No one can MAKE your dog like baths, structure/boundaries, or medical procedures.

Next time your relative dies, please ask the funeral director to make you laugh while you’re at it. 😂🤷‍♀️

We are licensed with the state and have 3 flavors to choose from: Punk’n Paws, Banana Bones, and Crunchy Cinnamon Apple! Wheat free, No Artificial anything, and 5 ingredients or less. A small bag ready to give for Christmas is just $3, including tax. We can also do larger custom orders. We will be open this Wednesday and Thursday from 9-5.
