🐾 It’s only October 8th, and P.A.W.S. has already taken in 65 animals this month! 🐾

We’re thrilled to share that 20 of those sweet pets have already found their forever homes β€” but we still need your help! ❀️

✨ FREE Microchips for Floyd County residents are still available every Monday and Friday!
If your pet is already microchipped, please take a moment to make sure your contact information is up to date. This simple step helps us reunite lost pets with their families faster.

🚨 So far this month, only 2 animals have been returned to their owners. Please help us change that! Make sure your pets are microchipped, tagged, and safely contained β€” whether by leash, kennel, or fence.

There are no true strays in Floyd County β€” every animal that comes to us once had a home. Together, we can make sure that Floyd County strays are no more. πŸΆπŸ±πŸ’›

This is Unmitigated and Disaster. These sweet girls have been at the shelter in our sick bay for over 100+ days. They are in dire need of getting out of the shelter and into a loving home or a licensed rescue to help them! They are chronically sick since they arrived at the shelter as small kittens. They have grown up but their sickness has not changed. These girls are not going to get better in a shelter environment due to the stress a shelter puts on an animal. While their respiratory issues will not completely resolve they can get exponentially better if they are in a home. If someone is willing to adopt one or both of these girls please let staff know. These two girls are available for adoption or rescue. They are still separate from the other adoptable animals so if you would like to meet them let front staff know. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11:30am-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-4:30pm. We are located at 99 North Avenue Rome, Ga 30161.
