🐴✨ Meet Petey the Donk! ✨🐴 After spending 2.5 long years alone in a small paddock post-weaning, Petey's life has taken a turn for the better at the rescue! In just 3 weeks, he's learned to be haltered, led, and even load onto a trailer. Today, he took a huge step and joined the herd in a larger pasture!

PETEY UPDATE - BRAND NEW MAN

He is doing awesome so far. Even though he came to us with ZERO training or handing he has been a wonderful student. In 2 short weeks he has learned to be caught, haltered, led, loaded in a trailer, groomed and loved on. This little guy truly is a unicorn!

He is healing beautifully from his gelding procedure and should be turned out in a bigger pasture with a new friend in about 10 days. Stay tuned for more Petey updates.

🎄🐴 Exciting News from Trinity Rescue and Equine Sanctuary! 🎄🐴

We are delighted to share that Trinity Rescue and Equine Sanctuary proudly participated in the Rome Christmas Parade 2024! It was a fantastic event that truly captured the spirit of the holiday season, and we were thrilled to be a part of it.

This year, we brought the magic of our sanctuary to the streets of Rome with our enchanting "Christmas on the Farm" float, featuring our adorable Trinity mini herd! These charming miniature horses brought smiles and joy to the faces of parade-goers young and old. You can see us on the video at 17 minutes and 20 seconds into the parade, spreading festive cheer and holiday spirit!

🎅🐴 Santa's Special Visit to the Rescue: Pony Christmas Wishes Come True! 🎄📸

Today was a magical day at the rescue as Santa himself stopped by to spread some holiday cheer! With a jolly twinkle in his eye, Santa took the time to visit each of our beloved ponies, eager to hear their Christmas wishes.

Our four-legged friends were thrilled to share their holiday dreams with Santa, and he listened intently to each one. From extra treats to cozy blankets, Santa took note of all the special requests to make sure every pony has a delightful Christmas.

In between his chats with the ponies, Santa found time to capture the joy of the season with some festive photos.

Santa's visit was a hit with the herd and the humans at the farm too. We're so grateful for the time he spent with us and for making our ponies and FARMily feel truly special.

Thank you, Santa, for bringing your holiday spirit to the rescue today! We can't wait to see the joy and happiness you bring to all the animals and people this Christmas. 🎁❤️

🐾 Meet Peter the Donkey: A Journey to a Better Life 🐾

We were recently contacted by a compassionate animal lover about a donkey named Peter who was in a less than ideal situation. Poor Peter was alone, depressed, and desperate for connection. With no companions and minimal human interaction, his days were dull and lonely. But thanks to the kindness of a caring soul, Peter's life is about to change for the better.

Peter has never been haltered or trimmed, and he is still intact. But that's all about to change as we embark on this journey to improve his life. Over the next few days, we'll be working closely with Peter to help him adjust and prepare for his trip to Georgia Equine Animal Hospital, where he will be gelded on Monday. This important step will not only improve his health but also make him more comfortable and sociable.

We are excited to share Peter's journey with you and look forward to updating you on his progress. Stay tuned for more updates as we help Peter transition into a happier, healthier chapter of his life. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission to improve the lives of animals in need.
