It saddens me to make this post, but we have decided it is time to let go of most of our collection due to personal reasons.

Without further ado, our first clutch of the year is out of the egg. We have some questions about morphs as we wait for them to have their first shed. The little egg we weren’t sure would make it, has pulled through and came out as a whopping 25g baby. The smallest we have produced.

The little egg has movement! This little egg is about half the size of the rest of the clutch. We are cautiously optimistic. 🤞🤞

What a fantastic day!

Tonks finally laid her first clutch with us! 4 good looking eggs and one slug.

Into the incubator they go! And now we wait….

We believe in 100% transparency over here at K&T, and unfortunately, our holdback champagne lesser female has passed.
She started out the same size as her clutch mates (hatched 8/28) and while they started eating she did not. We ended up having to force feed and assist feed, while trying to get her to eat on her own. Once she finally started eating, she wasn't passing stools. With soaking and massages to stimulate a movement, it was unsuccessful. She would look bloated one day and fine the next, but no f***s were found in her tub. She seemed to be doing well and had finally reached the 80g mark. While her clutch mates were approaching 200g. Friday she started seizing and unfortunately that made the decision for us.
We don't like to talk about the bad things or the hard side to hatching clutches, but unfortunately these things happen. And we have a responsibility to make sure the animal isnt suffering.
