Val is pondering life on a foggy Hurricane Creek morning. Val came from Cobb County Animal Services, he was adopted by one of our kennel staff, Spencer Ward, and is an HCK9 private detection dog. Enjoy, Val, pups like you are exactly why we do what we do!

Okay everyone, we have reached out to a friend and are piloting some HCK9 tumblers! If you are interested, comment below. A $25 donation to the Hurricane Creek K9 Foundation is what we are asking. In return, we will send your tumbler, as well as the picture and story of one of the dogs you will be helping with your donation.

Huge thanks to Amanda Marie and Stephen Sewell, these tumblers came out AMAZING!!

This is Anniston PD K9 Odin. He was found at Cobb County Animal Services and the potential was IMMEDIATELY evident. After he was rescued, he was trained by Hurricane Creek K9 and went to the Anniston Police Department, where is is attached to the APD Street Crimes Unit. He has been a ROCKSTAR! The power of shelter dogs to overcome and excel is unparalleled!

“What A GREAT morning!! Pepper pup is patiently waiting for her morning exercise! Peeper ended up at Hurricane Creek K9 after her owners decided that she was too much to handle, at 5 months old. Pepper has been here 2 weeks and is already on odor, she is going to make an amazing detection dog, once the little sq**rt grows!!”

Pepper and other dogs like her end up with Hurricane Creek K9 Foundation, which is a non profit we support. They are a licensed rescue and a registered 501c3. No matter what these dogs find a home, whether working or personal. For the last year and a half, feeding, vetting and caring for our rescues has come completely from the owners and now have made it possible to donate towards these incredible K9s to give them a second chance in becoming working K9s.
