Red Hide Cow Horses is excited to announce that we officially have lesson horses again!

Since moving from the Augusta Facility we have not had any dedicated ranch/lesson horses for my program
Fortunately we have several now that will be great teachers for lessons & clinics held at the ranch!
From reined cow horse, roping , Versatility Ranch horse classes all the way to dressage school master !

❤️Everyone Meet Hank, Kyle & Elle ❤️

“Hank the CowHorse”
is an older finished reined cow horse that was VRH Apha World Champion, Top Ten APHA in steer stopping & in the Sr Heading. Competitive in EXCA
He was also used by several kiddos in 4H over the years & we have leased him on & off since 2019 to use for lessons.
He prefers the cow work & teaching kiddos how to spin around.
He also loves to “Bow” for the crowd 🤣

Kyle- an OTTB that ran 2 races as a youngster & decided a dressage career w/youth was the life for him
He is a Fourth Level Schoolmaster & absolutely adores the kiddos ❤️

Elle- Aqha mare that has the perfect smooth jog for all the walk/trot folks that need a smooth ride !
She had been our training program prior to this at the old facility back in 2017/2018 , but unfortunately sustained a random & seemingly smaller injury last year that doesn’t allow her to keep up in the show pen , but is sound for fun walk/trot & will eventually be a broodmare !

We have a few others to use for select advanced riders since they’re still in the show string
In-Barn partial leases may be available to someone wanted to get their feet wet in the show pen too
So excited to be able to offer these fantastic horses !

Anyone of my friends on here have a little 10” youth saddle that their kiddos have outgrown & need to sell??

I sold all Riley’s youth saddles before I realized I was going to need another !

Nothing fancy but something like the little Corrientes maybe?

We have the perfect pony just need a saddle 🎁

This filly is by the late Blood Sweat N Steers (Once in a Blu Boon x daughter of Cats Merada) out of a really nice big own daughter of Moonstruck Pepto (out of a daughter of Zans Rawhide)

She is going to be a nice one !

While we are very grateful for all the rain Sunday/Monday & all the rain we received this morning, it unfortunately makes it hard to have a clinic.

Clinic for 3/4-3/5 is POSTPONED.

We have two rain date possibilities this month, all the folks that have your spot reserved expect a message today to discuss rain dates ❤️

Thank you all for understanding while we decide on rain date clinic so we can work our horses on some cattle !

This weekend is shaping up to have some great weather for the VRH/cow horse clinic !

Saturday-Advanced Clinic
AM-working on the fundamentals
PM-Herd Work/Boxing

Sunday-Beginner/Refresher Course
AM -Intro/Dry Work/Building Confidence on cattle
PM-Tracking/Rating/Boxing

Also I will be having a Youth Only clinic the week of March 13-17!
Picking a day soon , sign the kiddos up now !

We had a great time this month with everyone joining us for the Ranch Riding/Trail clinic!

There’s still a few spots available for the March versatility cow horse clinic

Also possibly setting up a Youth Only cow clinic during spring break if I have enough kiddos interested!

What a perfect nearly 60 degree day in February to have a clinic !

All kinds of terrain all in one spot
