Empress Labradors Homestead Welcome to Empress Labradors and Bassett Hounds. We do ALL the proper health testing when breeding. All proper vaccines will be given.

We have been breeding AKC registered Labradors for over 30 years with countless champions, performance title holders, along with fabulous temperaments. All Empress Labrador puppies will stay with their mother a minimum of eight weeks before being released to their new owners. De-worming will be administered. Records will be provided and a Bill of Sale to the buyer. All puppies are guaranteed from

genetic problems such as hip dysplasia and or eye problems. All of our dogs have their proper clearances for breeding. All puppies are temperament tested and evaluated so that every puppy can go into a home that they and you are happy with. All puppies sold for pet situations are sold with a limited registration through the American Kennel Club. Puppies are $ 3,500.00 and $ 500.00 non-refundable deposit is required to be putting on the waiting list for one of our puppies. Please keep in mind that us as breeders have no control of what color or s*x is born so please be willing to accept a different color and or s*x. Along with purchasing one of our pups they are micro-chipped and registered with Pet Key for lifetime training, amber alert sent if your pet gets away from you, for an extra $ 50.00 (if your vet would preform this procedure it would cost you $ 60 to $ 100.00.) start thinking of long registered name with the Empress name at the beginning of the name. Also, just remember, you are buying a LIFETIME of love, companionship, dedication, and enjoyment so please purchase Labrador puppies from reputable breeders.

Well 2024 is a wrap !

I don’t usually brag about my crew on this page. With that being said I feel it is very important for everyone to know the training and time that is put into with Empress Labradors!

You might not want a show dog and we don’t sell our show dogs but you should want a breeder that takes so much pride in their dogs that have the beauty of what AKC standard says that a Labrador should look like. All health testing possible for proper breeding. PERIOD! This is so important. Versatility for a well rounded dog for your family.

This year we have 8 new AKC champions in a year ! The most in past years have only been 3. These dogs have all been bred in my kennel and this is super exciting news.

Update: Faith has found her forever home. We have Faith available again and not to her fault that we had someone saying they wanted her and excuse after excuse, appointment ( no show ) after appointment ( no show )and 2-1/2 weeks later finally told me they could NOT 🤬 take her so instead of her in a new loving home she is still here. Faith is up to date on all puppy shots, heartworm and flea and tick preventative. Crate trained and some obedience work. DOB 10-16-23 Parents are Libby x Dap Jr. She loves kids and has not yet been around cats and I don’t see it being an issue. She is as sweet as sweet can be just your typical well bred Labrador temperament. We have been in Labradors for almost 25 years..... we are a small hobby kennel located in Northern IL..... we have 8 generations of a long line of great temperaments and dispositions. Our dogs are part of our family and loved very much.... we breed multiple litters in a year and have black, yellow, and chocolate puppies only!
