Socialized and loved everyday by our family members. Parents of our puppies are AKC registered and health checked. My Husband and I absolutely adore animals. We currently have 6 dogs. My husband is 74, and retired from General Motors. I am 63, and I am a retired habilitator. I worked with special needs children. My number one client, was of course, my granddaughter

Although
very rewarding, it can also be stressful. This year my husband Rick was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Our animals are amazing stress relievers. How perfect is it to be able to spend time at home with a beautiful family, our dogs. The cherry on top is the
adorable little puppies. We just love every single part of having puppies. It's a lot of work and there are financial costs with many sleepless nights: however
it is worth knowing that there will be a family who will unconditionally love our
puppies as much as we do. Rick and I
never breed our girls just to have puppies. We have a waiting list and thoroughly interview each family to make sure they are just the right fit for their new forever fur baby.
Surprise Melanie flew in from AZ to see her dad. I love that our daughters come to see him/us a couple times a year. We really love and appreciate them. Doesn’t Mel look just like her Dad? Chris is coming in Nov. Troy is starting the siding on our house, it looks amazing. We are blessed with our kids!

I was so excited to hear from the wonderful couple who adopted both Isabelle and then Jackson. These two are completely spoiled. It made my heart fill with joy. Mom says Isabelle is still boss of the house. Doesn’t surprise me one bit💗
Someone once said if you take care of someone with dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they get the diagnosis, when they go through different stages, when they need treatment and when they pass away. This is called "ambigua loss".
I don't wish dementia on anyone. As the brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are. They could end up lying in bed, not moving and not eating or drinking.
There will be people who will scroll past this post because Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has battled or is still battling dementia.
To raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would like my friends to put this on their page today.

The purchase of a well bred purebred did not sentence another dog to death.
The purchase of a well bred purebred did not cause an increase in the number of dogs in shelter.
Someone wanting a dog with a predictable temperament from healthy lineage did not cause another dog to not get adopted.
Someone's meticulous research and support of only the most responsible of breeders is not the problem. It is not what you should be mad at. It is not what you should be pushing the blame onto.
I am not the one who brought these dogs into the world irresponsibly and left them in a shelter. Responsible breeders are not the ones who put dogs into shelters either.
It is my home, my life, and my choice of what kind of dog to bring into it. Maybe I needed a working dog, a sport dog, or simply a companion puppy to raise of a breed I enjoy. No matter the reason, the choice to support a reputable breeder did not send a shelter dog to its death.
A breeder who health tests, temperament tests, studies pedigrees, proves a dog worthy of being bred, and only breeds when doing so is of benefit to the breed is not contributing to the number of homeless dogs.
The number of homeless dogs in the world is a problem, but it is not a problem exacerbated by reputable breeders and those who purchase from them.
Your neighbor down the street who refuses to contain his unaltered dogs IS contributing to the problem.
Your friend who impulse bought a dog at Pet Land IS contributing to the problem.
That guy on Craigslist pumping out the trendiest designer mix as fast as he can IS contributing to the problem.
Your relative who just HAS to let their dog have one litter “so she can experience motherhood” or because “she’s just so sweet” IS contributing to the problem.
Your old high school classmate who bought a high energy working breed without taking the time to research its needs and realize it was not a good fit for their household ahead of time IS contributing to the problem.
A reputable breeder offers their lifelong support. A reputable breeder would never allow their dogs to end up in a shelter to begin with. A reputable breeder makes it a contractual obligation to return dogs they have produced back to them should you find yourself unable of keeping it.
It is understandable to be angry about the number of homeless dogs in the world, but if you take a deeper look, you will find your anger is misplaced.
If you take a deeper look, you will find reputable breeders and those of us who purchase from them are just as angry, WE are just pointing fingers at the right causes.
In conclusion, Blaming responsible breeders for shelter dogs is like blaming Harvard graduates for crack babies.

Relief for my Trigeminal Neuralgia is finally going to happen Tuesday! My last flare up put me in the hospital for 2 days with a tube in my nose so I could get my medicine in my system. Knock on wood, I’ve been shock free for over a week. However at a cost the meds have been kicking my butt. The surgery that I’m having is called Gamma Knife Surgery. It is radiation. There is only 250 of these machines in the world. There is a 70% chance that it will cure my Trigeminal Neuralgia. This is the first time I’ve done something without Rick by my side, he is very confused about it. Thank God Troy and Crystal are there for us. I would really love prayers and positive thoughts from my friends and family.

Hard to believe this was just back in February. I sure miss all of our kids. They all have amazing homes that sure helps. Jewel and Gus Gus are warming our laps and have lots of love for us.

Due to my husbands medical problems we will no longer have all of our babies. The chances of falls are just too great. We will be moving into a substantially smaller home, small enough for me to handle everyday maintenance. Most of our babies have been placed with great families Jackson and Gus-Gus are still available. I prefer Michigan homes for them. Please PM me for information.
Ms Rikki and Jackson’s sons flew home today to be with their new families. Now all 4 of these cuties live in AZ. You can really see the difference between a sable and white.
This sable boy is so sweet like his dad and is entertainment for the whole day. Once he is ready for bed he is out like a light. His brother is flying to see his new family in AZ on the 15th.
