Need to a take trip, but have no place to leave your pet? I offer overnight pet sitting, day sitting, and drop in visits in the convenience of your home. But try not to wait too last minute as a meet and greet is usually preferred before services are officially accepted. I have hopes to meet all

of your fur babies at some point in time! If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message! Haven’t received a call back? Please note for quickest response it’s best to text my cell phone with your name, pet species and breeds, and the service you are looking for. I work hard to satisfy my clients and most importantly, their loved pets. I know what it's like to love a special companion. We ourselves own 3 dogs; a 10yr old Beagle mix (Sam), 8yr old Giant Schnauzer (Dottie), and 6yr old Giant Schnauzer (Bentley). We also own 5 cats; Kayde, Halo, Dezi, Miles, and Pocky. And let’s not forget we live on the edge and also own 5 tarantulas; Scarlet, Milena, Petra, Deli, and Jesus. I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Yorkshire Terrier. Our Yorkie is still with my parents and is 17yrs old. Our Golden Retriever passed away appx 6yrs ago. He’s the reason I started this business. I felt lonely without him as he passed away while on we were on vacation. I knew how important it was for our loved pets to be in good hands while us owners are on vacation or short trips. I make this post because as pet sitters- together we can make sure owners make the best decisions and have options for safely leaving their pets and also can enjoy much needed vacation time, family outings, medical trips, or whatever the need to leave may be. By being there for the pet owners during times of need we can help ensure less owners feel they have to abandon their animals, give them up, or put their animal in danger due to a need to leave. As many know I’m very active in rescue and see it soo much!

Hello sweet pet servants or fellow humans 🤪 December booking availabilities are dwindling down, especially Christmas! Never be afraid to reach out to me last minute for a booking- if I can fit you in I will. But if you know your plans ahead of time book now to secure your pet into my schedule as last minute availability is not guaranteed 😍 I have limited availability for overnight care and some availability for drop in visits available for December and January. All care is done in the pets own home. All types of animals welcome. Most of my experience revolves around cats, dogs, various tank pets, and birds. Always willing to learn other animals though. I’m experienced with 8yrs as a professional pet sitter, 5yrs in rescue, and I’m insured w/various certifications under my belt such as Pet CPR & First Aid. My name is Selena Peck and I run Canine Furbaby Services. We are home and family based. We love dogs unconditionally. Let me tell you a little about me:

I’m currently attending college and getting my basic classes covered. After a couple degrees in college, I have hopes of making it into Veterinary School. I love animals and enjoy working hard for them and their owners/pet parents. I am up to date and Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. My family and I have experience in canine medicine administration, including insulin shots. I have taken both online and physical classes for Pet CPR, dog behavior, and more. I look for learning opportunities everyday. I’m currently looking into an internship at a grooming salon. I would love more experience in grooming to better my skills. (We don’t officially offer grooming at the moment but depending on the pet I do offer small breed full grooms at $25). Meeting new dogs is one of my favorite thing about what I do. I find the variety of breeds and personalities amazing. I hope to meet yours soon!

Whether you are going on vacation, a work trip, gone for the day, or gone for a few hours we can be your hero! We recommend booking in advance, however we do do our best to accommodate those last min request! But try not to wait too last minute, we do have requirements, need paperwork filled out, and spots fill up fast.

My family and I strives to satisfy you and most importantly, your beloved furry babies/pets. Dog’s have always been apart of our lives. We have over 17 years experience in owning dogs as a family. Our owning experience has been with Golden Retrievers and Yorkies. Our dogs live long and healthy lives. Don’t get me wrong, owning dogs can teach you a lot, but it’s not enough experience to be fit for this job. We also have over 4 years of working experience with others’ pets.

Owning a dog and having a fenced in yard doesn’t automatically make somebody a good candidate for this job. Many reports of missing dogs in the hands of in home boarder are often cases of a dog jumping, digging, or squeezing it’s way through a fenced in yard. Just because one has owned dogs, doesn’t mean they know how to handle all dogs and the situations you can be in conducting this job.

Our is NOT fenced, instead we take the time to supervised the dogs at all time, they are never left out unattended. We do use tie outs for the safety of the dogs and our neighbors. We also live on Houghton Lake and the tie outs keep dogs from jumping in the water without our knowledge.

We your permission and your dogs interested we are willing to playing the lake and have a great time. At a small charge we can bath your dog before he goes home as well! All dogs receive 1-3 walks a day based upon the weather, how busy we are, and how much energy they have. We have play times and rest times and have goal to give each pup a great time!

Home Descriptions: Our home has a finished cement driveway, decent yard, partial fence (tie outs used for potty), finished shaded porch (complete with ceiling fan), and sets on Houghton Lake with a beautiful view. Our interior consists of tile and vinyl flooring, wooden walls and ofcourse furniture both pet restricted and pet friendly.
