We are without power/phones, just like everyone else! Today is our lunch day, so we will be out of the office from 11:45ish - 2 .
Hopefully power will be back on around 2 🤞🏼

Dr. Bittle and Halli have had a family emergency and we will be closing at NOON today, and out of the office tomorrow.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience and will be back to somewhat normal next week. Dr. Baker will fill in if needed and our dear Maddison will be back from her honeymoon!

It is also National Vet Tech week and Bree does a little bit around here, but can’t run the clinic by herself 😅

I live west of town and my dog I just adopted ran off Saturday morning. She is a 2 yr old Blue Heeler and her name is Katy. She is sweet as can be but scared. Sadie is 1 year old Red Heeler mix and looking for a forever home. She is very sweet and gets along with everyone. She has a lot of energy but is not "heeler crazy". She has never been destructive or aggressive. Her house partner has some issues and I am having to make a very hard choice and rehome her so that she may have the best life she deserves. PLEASE do not give your dog ibuprofen, EVER

By Heather Koehn: "Worst case of jaundice I’ve ever seen. Ibuprofen toxicity. The dog got into a fight with the other dog and the owner gave one dose of 600mg ibuprofen about 5 days prior to presentation at my clinic. The owner elected humane euthanasia."

Please, PLEASE research the breed you are getting. Start regular grooming activities as young as possible, if you wind up with a breed that needs regular grooming visits. That groomer can even be yourself!

Otherwise, you might wind up with TWO dogs. Your actual dog, and the one that needs shaved off of them.

Disclaimer: we do not groom but this shave was medically necessary!
