This is the normal everyday look into an in home bird rescue…clean one thing and something else is dirty 😂😂😂 We clean all cages twice a week, sweep and mop floors daily, feed and water fresh daily, and rotate days out with all the birds to play. The next day after cleaning cages sometimes you wouldn’t even know, ha! Who knew birds could be messy and like to rip up their cages 🤦🏻
We have a handful of birds available for adoption: Romeo the lovebird, two cockatiels, 12 parakeets, Angelo the Goffin Cockatoo, Tweety the Indian Ringneck, Sid the African Gray, Gracie the African gray, and Kiki the Greater Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. Interested in adopting? Fill out the questionnaire at the top of our page. IF we like what we see there you will hear back from us to go to step two.
Tonight’s update for you all! (This is even with being sick…I worked my pastoral role from the couch and cleaned throughout the day to not overdo myself)
Budgies are able to start going home on Thursday.
Please continue to have patience with us if you filled out an application as I do all of that alone so on top of caring for birds every day, going to my normal job every day, and being a dad and husband it’s a slow process.
Applications that we do approve, you will hear from us eventually (when we get the time or the right bird comes in).
Applications that we do not approve of will not hear back.
Applications that we may need to look further into take longer to process.
Also, just because we may have a mutual friend does not guarantee your approval. We honestly and intently look into every single case for the protection and safety of the bird. It is nothing personal. my own mother in law filled out a form and application.
Applications are pinned to the top of the page. Fill out the Google form and submit it. That is the first step in the adoption process.
Tonight’s great update! I’ll be posting some more updates tomorrow on deliveries received, new toys installed and big birds cleaned. We appreciate you all!
A little video update for today. I know it’s late but I was excited to share this with you all.
