Update on Riley
She has an infection at surgical site which ruptured this morning. Causing some bleeding which scared the crap out of me. She's very swollen as well. The vet said she has the main infection but also cellulitis in the rear leg on top of it. She is not septic yet which was my worst fear going into this. They gave her 2 injections of stronger antibiotics and changed her antibiotics to a different one. We've been told what to watch out for & how to keep this infection from getting any worse. Continued prayers for our girl are much appreciated!

It is with great sadness that we have to make this post & officially announce the retirement of our best momma, Miss Riley-Roo. In the best interest of her health, this is what we must do to keep her with us for years to come hopefully 🙏! Long story short, Riley had a biopsy in June that showed benign at that time. The suspicious spot continued to change & look weird, so we opted for removal before it turned into cancer. During the removal the vet called and informed us that in her professional opinion, it was actually malignant & they would be doing a larger removal of the area to hopefully get clean margins. Riley is home & resting. Once she is healed from this major surgery, she will be spayed & be a fulltime couch potato here with us. It is our hope that she gets no new strange spots in the next 6-12 months. Prayers that they got clean margins & our girl will be okay are much appreciated!
With that being said, Luxx, Sulli & Preacher will be starting their OFA testing soon! We will breed Luxx on her next heat if she's all clear (she's currently in heat so 6-8 months from now). The vet said this is thankfully not a genetic type of cancer, & that it is okay for us to breed Luxx in the future if she passes her testing. Sulli will be bred sometime in 2025 if she's all clear!
I'm so sorry to those who wanted a baby from Riley this year, know that you aren't alone & this is a bummer for a lot of us. What's most important to me is making sure my girl is okay & will live a long happy life with us. Thank you for being so understanding 💕

*** UPDATE *** Has a family coming to meet her this Saturday!

Luna is a soon to be 4yr old from Freya x Hudson, she is spayed, stomach tacked and up to date on vetting. She is an all around good girl, crate & house trained, calm, sweet, typical velcro dane, does really good with our kids 8-15yr, would be a good fit for most families or couples of any age. She is just looking for someone who won't abandon her again, sadly she's had 3 homes in 3yrs (against contract & without our knowledge), so I will be very picky on where she ends up. She is an absolute sweetheart & deserves her forever place ❤️. She is at that perfect age where shes out of the pup phase & calm, doesnt get better than that! She has bonded really well with my husband & adores my kids. If we didnt have so many pets already, we would honestly keep her. She's quite the character at times, covers herself completely with blankets, doesn't destroy her beds, doesn't chew things, listens very well. She comes with a plethora of items as well. ***UPDATE MORNING OF MAY 2ND***
Luna may have her forever home with a past family of ours who sadly lost their UNDAD pup to complications after neuter surgery. If anything changes I will let everyone know! Fingers crossed & prayers for Luna are appreciated 🙏 ❤️

We will have an adult looking for her forever home.
Luna is a spayed blue brindle female from Freya x Hudsons "Thanksgiving Dinner Litter". Report on her seems to be she is the typical velcro dane, she wants to be with & by her people all the time. I believe she will be 4yr this year (need to double check my records)

Once we get her back & and evaluated, she will be looking for her forever adventures & a couch to call hers.

Our 2025 Sire & Dams!

☆Sulli☆ This girl when paired correctly, will throw not only amazing conformation, but she will throw all the colors possible! Cannot wait to see what she produces next year. CHIC # coming soon.
9 months old & growing amazingly ❤️☺️

☆Preacher☆ This boy is the biggest sweetheart ever. Still growing at 14 months, he's one of our biggest dogs. Can't wait to see him mature & fill out! Starting OFA testing soon for his CHIC #, available to the public after he passes testing.

☆Luxx☆ This girl is solid! The most bone I've seen on a female of ours. While she's about to turn 2yr, she still needs her OFA testing, as well as mentally mature a little more. So she won't be starting until winter of '24-'25 after she's passed her tests. (Old graphic! Updated one coming soon!)

Sulli our beautiful (HARLEQUIN PIEBALD) girl is just shy of 6 months now. She has the best temperament, calmest girl I've ever owned. Love her to pieces!

We have lift off with her ears! They look so dang good! She's 55lbs now and the most incredible pup we've ever had. 🥰 she amazes me with every trip to town where I challenge her confidence & training. This week we mastered walking next to a cart while mom gets dog food, jumping out of the vehicle unassisted, and learning to wait for my meals!

And that's a wrap on our summer 2023 litter! Pandora just left with her new family! 🥳🥰

IF we have the interest, we may just do Riley-Roo's retirement litter this winter, putting them ready to go around Feb to new homes. BUT I would need at least 7 serious families who are willing to get on the wait list, pass application, and place the wait list deposit. Riley had her annual vaccines, brucellosis test & our 2nd attempt at OFA Thyroid. (Let's hope USPS doesn't lose this one 🤦‍♀️) Riley is scheduled to finish her health testing for her CHIC # on April 29th. After that appointment in April, Riley will be cleared for all the following: OFA Heart (basic & echo), Hips, Elbows, Thyroid, Eyes, & Embark clear. Her daughter Luxx will begin her health testing in April & have her CHIC # complete later in the year. Our new stud prospect will begin his health testing late this year & have his CHIC # by sometime early 2024 if we can get into one of the early clinics! Thousands in testing on each dog to ensure we are doing everything we can to breed healthy pups for families to enjoy for years to come.
